Bad Candy: Building The Morgue

Today we started a rebuild of the morgue set. Our new location was the old firehouse from Tyrone, GA. The place is great. We're also utilizing the rest of the house, so in the rooms over we will not only have the home for Kyra and her dad, but Chilly Billy's radio station as well.

Two years ago today we announced the release date of our full length horror movie Bad Candy!

Written & Directed by Film Director Scott B Hansen & Desiree Connell, and starring Zach Galligan Official (Gremlins) & Corey Taylor (Slipknot) Derek Russo (Jumanji 2)

Bad Candy follows local Halloween stories of both myth and lessons learned in the community of New Salem. With its annual Psychotronic FM Halloween show, re-enactment radio DJs Chilly Billy and Paul weave the tales of the supernatural of years gone by. In the town of New Salem it’s a grimy ending for most, but will a few good souls survive?

Today a few years ago we made some wholesome content for “Mayday Parade” and it featured two of our child actors from Bad Candy. Course it’s been a while so they’re technically teen actors but even at their advanced ages they’re still adorable.

We are only a few months away from spooky season, so Bad Candy is already on our mind. That's because we love spooky season and our movie is our love letter to it. As a matter of fact, we're going to start talking more about Bad Candy until we get through this weird ugly heat thing everyone calls "summer." A few months ago we teamed up with Ryan Oakes and created multiple videos for him over the course of a single week. It was an incredible amount of work in a short period of time as we created seven different specific sets over the course of two short weeks before, and even  during some of those shoot days.

For "Love Letters" we grabbed him and a very small crew and went intimate with a one location shoot out in the middle of nowhere. Ryan ate up the scenery as we filmed here in the main courtyard of an abandoned hospital we heard a few things about.

Trin'a Very Bad Day

Today is the one year anniversary of Digital Thunderdome filming "Trina's Very Bad Day". A fun weekend as we built sets and moved to multiple locations quickly and efficiently. Enjoy the photos! P.S. This being one of the last videos to be released by Ryan, it is isolated in one specific part of that set we built at our studio, and the rest is clever use of lights and atmosphere.
