“I apologize for neglecting you so much, Mr. Sovannarith.” Xiang says as he finishes his purchase of two sets of pork buns from the street vendor. Grabbing the bags, he extends one towards his guest, a cool yet tired smile stretching his lips. “As you can imagine, things are very busy around here this time of year. I hope a couple of my favorite 包子 will make up for it.” 

He doesn’t wait for the other to take out his share before he already has one plump bun in his hand and takes a large, joyful bite of it.
