OOC Chatter

((I’m not quite dead yet!  Though I figure it’s a good time to just be a bit transparent and honest about my feelio’s with the goings on.   The TL:DR is that a few folks are departing from the group, and while it wasn’t their intent, it has left me a bit deflated and lackluster feeling about my own muses at this time.  Particularly with PI whose lost several key characters to his connections.

I’m not upset about it,cause I’d rather folks go forth and be happy and no one is beholden to me.  And I’d end up feeling far worse if it turned out folks were only sticking around to appease me.  But! I won’t deny that right now...I’m oof’d.  And I’m having a hard time really deciding where I personally want to go. I don’t want to just retcon out and act like those characters didn’t/don’t exist because...well! I loved those stories! I loved Death being Pembrooke’s morail, I enjoyed Jude being his son, and Fin being this weird disaster crush.  And the banter and plans with Ace and Signless.  To ignore them or just...act like they’re not there just. Well it kind of hurts to be real. And the idea of just shutting down PI and playing the other muses I have feels equally ouch. PI’s kinda my main bebe. So yah...I dunno...I’m giving myself some time to just let my feelies settle before making any decisions. But I mostly didn’t want it to feel like a shock if it does end up being a case of me stepping out myself.   And I doubly so don’t want folks to feel like if I do it is because those remaining were somehow not good enough to keep my attention.  There’s some really amazingly good noodles. I love MK, and Clover, and Paint, and Scratch and so many others!   It is genuinely more about me and my feelings of if I can really keep going without feeling like I gutted my characters and if I can provide a character worthwhile.  It doesn’t help that real life has some stuff coming down on me as well so there’s that too. :’D But yah, this is mostly just a means to say I’m not quite dead yet, but where I’m at right now.  Not really meant to say “convince me”, just to keep things open and clear. I can almost see the shopping district rolling the red carpet out over all the snow now. [pvt] As a more serious note, and I realize it isn’t my place to say...but I hope you are doing alright considering all that happened doing as well as one can be doing. And well, I was going to ask if you still wished to engage in the D&D activity I had planned.   With all that has happened I fully understand if your heart or mind isn’t into it. But I also understand it may be nice to have something to just take one’s mind off the day to day.    Either answer is well and fair.

Now now, I’m quite certain you singlehandedly saved the fashion district after the trickster and fog blight. Many a business would have gone under if not for your drastic need for an entire new fall wardrobe.
