Wait! If the first Sonic movie does take place on Valentine’s Day 2020 and Robotnik was only gone eight months in the second movie and the third movie definitely takes place in 2025 then that means more time is spent in the crab!

If Robotnik was pushed through the ring on February 14/15 2020 then he came back October/Novemberish of the same year. If we are going by Robotnik’s actual count it’s October 21st/22nd 2020

Roughly Two days for Sonic2 to take place

Give or take a month for Stone to take Robotnik to the crab to because it is likely hidden and Robotnik is really injured.

If my very loose math and understanding of the SCU timeline is correct enough, they got to be domestic in the crab for almost four years.

When TOS decided to take itself seriously in the movies, I don't think anyone stepped up their game as much as George Takei.

He knows what a presence his voice has and how to use it. He didn't have a lot to do, but by God he did it well. And when the time came to take on a captain's chair, I absolutely believed in Captain Hikaru Sulu.

He completely owns this. This is the look of dignified, righteous authority.

This man went from being in an American concentration camp to being a fucking Starfleet Captain.

I'll always be sad we haven't gotten more with him.
