OUGHH I had a thought about the @askoverkill au

So, nicknames from Loop generally have some sort of meaning, Stardust being what’s left behind, Dawn being the start of something new and Dusk being the end.

So! When Loop slipped up and called Siffrin by the wrong nickname! Luna! The name Luna means moon. And what’s a moon? Something that orbits another celestial body!

Soooo what if Loop called them Luna because Luna was one of the Siffrin’s who spent the most time around them? A moon orbiting around a star—their Luna. (I know stars don’t have moons but HUSH) Luna got anxious and frustrated and spent a lot of loops just staying with Loop, skipping out on the adventure when it got too painful.

It would make sense then, for Loop to slip up and call another Siffrin “Luna”, if Loop and Luna had become close in this way.

I don't think N would be terribly interested in most social media but tbh I can see him getting big on TikTok. he makes an account because Bianca mentions using it for scientific outreach and he figures he can use it to teach a few people how to form deeper bonds with their pokemon, and he has enough good looks and accidental cult leader rizz that he quickly goes viral despite his lack of update schedule or video editing skills. his account is half calling out habitat destruction and videos about how to read your pokemon's body language, half him rambling about random cool math concepts at 3 in the morning while his legendary dragon looms ominously in the background. ok wait I'm weirdly invested in the idea of future N as a semi-accidental tiktok influencer now

It absolutely kills me that N wasn't done with his travels outside Unova because he doesn't go back to them. He only comes back because Team Plasma is active again and he feels like he has an obligation to step in. But when the threat is gone and he has the opportunity to leave. He doesn't. He gives up his dragon, his friend and he goes right back to a place that hurts him because it's familiar. He isolates himself and every action he takes is him trying to mirror moments that he had with the original protagonist because I can only imagine that those moments make him happy. His final battle with them was such a profound moment and riding the Ferris wheel with them is a nice memory despite the circumstances that it occurred in. He doesn't just stagnate, he gets worse. He could have gone back to his journey outside Unova. But he came home and saw his friend wasn't there and decided to wait even though it hurts him.

The fact that he came back to Unova hurts so bad because he wasn't done. He wasn't done and he wasn't ready.
