Good afternoon I hope my question doesn't make you uncomfortable, but have you thought about writing a story about Diogenes again? I'm intrigued by some of your posts about him, it would be great to know more after all this time! I will accept and understand any of your answers

Hi! Sorry for the super late response - I only check this blog every other month or so. No worries at all about questions, you're not bothering me. As for stories, unfortunately probably not. I haven't been up-to-date on SCP lore in, lord knows, 10+ years, and I'm not a super stellar writer. I'd totally answer asks about Diogenes if you have questions! (though as you can see, it might be a while before I respond), but I also think it's fun leaving interpretations of the character up to anyone. So, if you ever want to use Diogenes in your own stories, for ex., anything you come up with would be as true as anything I say.

hello hiii, i was just wondering if you can share some Diogenes related fun facts/headcanons? They are such a cool character <3

Oh! Sorry I don’t check this blog very often, so I only saw this now. Sure! I definitely have my own headcanons (I don’t consider Diogenes my own character anymore bc I love what other people do with them, so these are just headcanons):

- Diogenes likes things clean. They’re not fastidious exactly - their apartment occasionally gets messy - but they always know where their things are.

- Taller than average.

- A terrible cook. Prefers cafeterias and take-out.

- Gets lost in the woods a lot for a person who has no business being in the woods.

- Was born in a ghost town that exists in two places at once. It may or may not have already been a ghost town at the time of their birth.

- Is Jewish.

- Speaks English, Greek and German.

I feel like in an event in which Bright met Diogenes parents he would try to gaslight them into thinking Diogenes was actually his kid. Dude would be oddly territorial about it too.
