How we’re staying progressive in the web design industry
They say that people hate change and that complacency is the root of evil. Direct Allied Agency refuses to become complacent in an industry like web design which is largely controlled by the rules and behavior of Google. This is actually a very good thing not only because the internet is always changing, but because it’s important to stay ahead of the competition as we work on our clients’ SEO strategies.
For instance, we’re promoting our state of the art website design and search engine optimization program just in time for the holidays, largely so we can help get businesses ready to hit the ground running in 2018. This month we will offer a 6 page website that comes loaded with SEO features and best practices right out of the box. In addition to this package we are creating a new logo if needed, as well as create as many relevant social media accounts as possible.
The cost?
$800!
“We know that clients want to see results, that’s why we’re willing to offer this program at such a low cost,” says Direct Allied Agency owner Kevin Khoury.
“If the client sees results, generates a new sale, gets compliments on their new logo or social media posts, they will want to continue to do business with us,” adds Khoury.
This is progressive. To be able to offer what amounts to a $5,000 or $6,000 website and marketing campaign is truly one of a kind. Direct Allied Agency is known to boast that anyone can build a website, and that is not us. We build a tangible online asset that generates traffic and gets noticed in search engines. The best part about this program is that there is no ongoing contract, although we recommend investing in to your SEO processes each month to avoid being “leapfrogged” by competition in search engine results.
Staying ahead of the game in the internet marketing space is a true challenge for us, but one that we are used to excelling in and creating long lasting clients that not only generate more business online, but speak highly of our efforts and go the extra mile to refer us to friends or fellow business owners.
We are now developing a managed SEO program as well. This will look like a plug and play application with a dashboard that helps clients understand what we do behind the scenes, and allows users to complete tasks themselves so that their brand is more personal, something that has been missing in traditional SEO agencies.
Team Direct Allied has huge goals in 2018 and we hope you do too! There will never be another 2017 no matter how you look at it. The rules have been changed, algorithms that govern search engines have been tweaked, and we have evolved. Cheers to a productive and successful new year.

The Importance of A Business Website
Since the explosion of the internet, websites have become a major marketing strategy and should be a part of every business owner’s marketing plan. Some may think designing a website with very little effort involved will get the job done. But nothing could be further from the truth. Designing a website should always be considered an integral part of your business plan. Websites are as important to the success of your business as having the right name, an  excellent service or product, and exceptional customer service.
Too often small business owners will focus on other aspects of marketing such as telemarketing or social media, and avoid making sure their website looks presentable, professional, updated, and user-friendly. Think of this scenario. As a business owner you’re excited about the opening of your new brick-and-mortar store and are anticipating a steady flow of business. You offer a variety of inexpensive products that will lure people into your store. Your location is pretty good. You believe you have everything necessary and in place for your store to be a success. However, the basic design of your store is seriously lacking.
The name of your business is located in an obscure place on the front of your store. Your store always looks like it’s closed because of the clutter, lack of lights, and the overall dull appearance. And when customers visit your store they can’t navigate through the store easily, things are difficult to find, and there’s no assistance available to help them find what they need. Not to mention, people can’t find your store because it doesn’t stand out. No matter how well you’ve advertised your new store, and no matter the location of the store, the appearance and presentation of your store is a huge turnoff.
This is a fatal mistake many small business owners make when it comes to their website. They may have a great product or service and they may have great SEO marketing techniques involved, but when someone visits their website they are turned off by the appearance of it. And the bottom line is when customers are turned off by your website, that means you lose money, as well as potential customers.
