ok ok fine. why are you so passive about all of this then? like i get she's your patron or whatever but what does she benefit you, REALLY, that makes you so okay with accepting whatever is dished out to you? after everyone took the blame out on you you just accepted it like you were the one personally responsible for all of it and she did nothing to help that. what sort of goddess lets her main man suffer like that? i thought she treasured you or whatever lol

Fighting the situation would only exacerbate things, and honestly I’d rather people have been mad at me than at a Goddess they can’t touch. It’s, in some odd way, partly my fault, I feel.

She gave me purpose for 2000 years, I suppose is the easy answer. It’s hard not to feel like you owe something to a celestial entity in that regard. 

She doesn’t know about the backlash, and I don’t much care for her to know.
