fanfics are alwasy talking abt getting invited to ur crushes band and how it's like so exciting snd fun and hot and they never talk about how it's so fucking awkward standing in a small empty weird venue radiating gay energy trying to be cool and not hover around don't get in their way be cool wtf do you say after like "good set man u sounded great!" good god. i'm telling u it can be painful. and then you're in this venue for like potentially a long time because they can't really leave if they played, and they're like talking to people they know and listening to the other bands and you're still trying to just be fucking cool and maybe they're introducing you to their friends n shit and again you have to focus on not broadcasting how gay and weird you are. IN MY LIMITED EXPERIENCE.
#luckily haven't had this experience and then you go and it's like#REALLY BAD i don't even know what i would do. but tbh if someone is in a band they're telling you so fast#and then you can listen beforehand and proceed from there
