Why tf am I doing this. Why can I never forget you. Is it bc you’re my first everything?? I get distracted by life often enough to forget for a second, but so many things remind me of you, or things we did together.

It’s probably because the love we shared was pivotal and developmental for the both of us. The older I get, the more modest mouse songs that come on the radio at work, I’m reminded of what a beautiful thing we had. How lucky we were to find each other and how deep things ran between us. I trusted you with everything in me. You hung the moon for me. I think about you every single day. I know nostalgia weighs a heavy hands in this but our connection will be on my mind for the rest of my life. I’ve not met someone like you since. You got me. And I got you. And I miss you. And I feel so silly doing this right now but I miss you. I miss it.

I’ve been listening to a lot of Pinegrove, $B, Phoebe, Turnover lmao. And I started reading Infinite Jest for the 5th time bc it’s so long and I’ll always lose interest and then pick it up again bc I want to read it

Omg…Phoebe is one of the artists I struggle to listen to in current day because of how sad it made me when I first got into her lmao. Much love for her always but it’s the same reason I don’t listen to mitski much anymore. Always love those 6 turnover songs that I’ve liked since i was 18 though lmao i also listen to them around this time of year occasionally. Anywho it’s actually hilarious that you’re reading infinite jest lmao me and some friends read that over covid and did a discord book club. I’ve been listening to mostly nothing besides dead man’s bones and soccer mommy lmao, tis the season etc. I’m reading crying in h mart finally, and I’m finally finishing watching twin peaks.
