I got into Digimon a few months ago. When I saw that Patamon digivolved into the light-based Angemon, I knew I had to draw Patri with a Patamon! And William gives me a good excuse to draw cute plant-based Digimon like Tanemon!

Their other souls! I almost want to say their evil half, but it doesn't feel accurate with Patri there. Maybe their "much more likely to murder you" half?

Hi there! I've been planning a Black Clover fanfic which is essentially a canon divergence after the Spade Invasion Arc, where the Black Bulls travel to the Land of the Sun together (by converting the base into a cruise ship). I'm going through canon (mainly the manga) with a fine-toothed comb, but I've decided to incorporate things from the light novels, too. So! I'm popping by to say a big THANK YOU for translating the light novels :) I hope 2024 has been kind to you so far!

Lately, I've been spending more of my time reading Saiyuki fanfics rather than Black Clover ones, but I like seeing how people use material from the novels in their own works, and I would've liked to see other characters spend some time in the Land of the Sun too, so send a link when you start posting it!

Happy Birthday William and Patri!

Last year, my twin got us both sick with Covid around our birthday, probably because we share a lot of stuff, but at least we don't share a body! It made me think that if William ever got sick on his birthday, Patri would be stuck feeling sick too.

Hello, hope you're doing fine, I'm a fan of your work and translations and wanted to know, do you have any plans on translating and posting the companion piece for the movie, volume 23.5 ?

I'm happy to hear you've enjoyed my translations!

Regarding volume 23.5, at the moment, I have no plans to translate it. Don't get me wrong, Johnny Onda wrote some great content for volume 23.5, as he previously has done for Black Clover. I'd definitely give Nitebaron's summaries for 23.5 a read if you haven't already (their twitter is here). But translating novels takes a lot of time and energy that I haven't had for the past few months and that I don't think I will have anytime soon.

Black Clover joins the Seasonal Manga Club

And so, yet another beloved series of mine joins the seasonal manga club. I wasn't expecting Black Clover to join D.Gray-Man and Kekkai Sensen, but I'm glad Tabata will be able to continue it in a way that doesn't destroy his health.

And I'll take a seasonal release schedule over an indefinite hiatus any day (cries in HxH and Saiyuki)

Chapter 12 of Black Clover SD is Now Available on MangaDex!

Dorothy fans and Kirsch fans rejoice, this chapter is for you! This chapter features a team up between Asta, Yuno, Mimosa and Kirsch as they team up to investigate Dorothy’s disappearance. Call me crazy, but I think this might be my favorite chapter? The origin story of this chapter’s villain is neat, and the chapter explores Kirsch’s relationship with the Coral Peacocks and Mimosa in some interesting ways

Paladin Yami would be really interesting to see! I think it’s pretty likely Lucius will try to get his two adopted sons on his side (well, they’re Julius’s kids, but I feel that Lucius must be at least a little attached to them), but I hope he tries to persuade them first so that we can see their ideals clash

We’re finally entering the last volume of Black Clover SD, volume 3! This is simultaneously one of my favorite chapters, and one of the chapters I am most repulsed by. On one hand, this chapter is Covid parody, which is amazing. On the other hand, the virus turns people into idiots, which makes this chapter’s characters do some extra cursed things... except Vetto. I love idiot Vetto
