The recreation of my Selkie bard, Eilonwy, from BG3 now in Skyrim. I'm doing the touches of my mod list to iron out all the bugs before we try to play it with Skyrim Together. My girl travels with her owlbear (the big critter behind her) and Scratch (of course). Karlach and Shadowheart are somewhere here, and Talisan has been given the Astarion makeover, so there's the triad.... I should flex a bit and make the other companions, but I gotta get the game looking right first, meaning I have to break Easy NPC back out, dust it off, and have another go at it to get my npc overhauls working. Karura and RedguardDiaspora's overhauls are the most realistic of them all. I hate having runway models for NPCs. And, I also have to finish my Dragonborn mod, which will add actual Dragonborn to Skyrim as a new race. That one will be more involved, but I've already shown previews of it. Now realising my autism is the bane and boon to modding and playing Skyrim. I'll see if I can get my modlist uploaded on Wabbajack for others wanting to experience some Faerun in their Elder Scrolls. I also have skins for Tieflings and devils.... will need to do something with that too...

The Modern Day Mengele
David Geier and the Modern Medical Atrocity: A Warning for Neurodivergent Lives
In the annals of medical ethics, few names inspire as much revulsion as Dr. Josef Mengele, the Nazi physician who conducted horrific experiments on children, twins, and people with disabilities in Auschwitz. Though history would like to believe that such inhumanity could never again take root in medicine, the recent appointment of David Geier—an unlicensed medical practitioner with a chilling record of abuse toward autistic individuals—by Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is a grim reminder that cruelty, cloaked in pseudoscience, is still a present threat.
The Geiers’ Campaign of Harm
David Geier and his father, Dr. Mark Geier, rose to infamy in the early 2000s by promoting the long-debunked theory that autism is caused by vaccines, specifically those containing thimerosal, a mercury-based preservative. They went beyond misinformation. In an unethical and deeply disturbing series of “treatments,” the Geiers diagnosed children—often without any medical credentials—with supposed mercury toxicity and subjected them to dangerous experimental protocols.
Among the most alarming was their use of Lupron, a drug designed to chemically castrate sex offenders by suppressing testosterone production. Their theory? That lowering testosterone levels would somehow "assist" with the supposed mercury detoxification process. This was not evidence-based medicine. It was a grotesque experiment that mirrored historical abuses—reminiscent of Mengele’s eugenic obsessions and use of involuntary chemical experimentation.
Children as young as six were subjected to these treatments, often without full parental understanding or true informed consent. Lupron, when misused, can cause devastating side effects: osteoporosis, extreme fatigue, chronic pain, and irreversible hormonal damage. Worse, the Geiers combined this with chelation therapy, a process used to remove heavy metals from the body, which in improper contexts can lead to kidney failure, seizures, or even death. This was not healing—it was torture disguised as care.
In 2011, the Maryland Board of Physicians found that David Geier was practicing medicine without a license. He was charged for performing physical exams, diagnosing patients, and recommending these extreme treatments. His father’s medical license was eventually revoked in multiple states due to misconduct, unethical treatment of children, and falsification of medical information.
Echoes of Mengele
While David Geier did not operate within a death camp, the comparison to Mengele is not rhetorical excess—it is a moral imperative. Mengele’s victims were prisoners, stripped of autonomy, experimented on in the name of “science.” The Geiers’ victims were autistic children, whose parents were often desperate, and who could not advocate for themselves. In both cases, vulnerable individuals were exploited, dehumanized, and subjected to experimental procedures without adequate safeguards, ethical oversight, or consent.
Both men used a facade of science to pursue personal, ideological, or egotistical ambitions at the expense of real lives. Both targeted marginalized groups. Both inflicted harm under the banner of “help.”
RFK Jr.'s Dangerous Endorsement
That Robert F. Kennedy Jr.—a known vaccine conspiracy theorist—has now appointed David Geier to lead a federal study on vaccines and autism is more than irresponsible. It is a dangerous legitimization of fringe, debunked, and medically abusive ideology. Kennedy's position of power now lends credence to someone who should never be near public health, let alone overseeing research that could once again stigmatize or endanger neurodivergent people.
This is not just about policy—it is about people’s lives. Neurodivergent individuals have long suffered under systems that treat them as broken, as experiments, or as problems to be solved. To see this legacy revived at the federal level is terrifying. Geier’s re-emergence, empowered by RFK Jr., threatens to mainstream the same cruel tactics under a new political banner.
David Geier should be remembered not as a researcher, but as a warning. The parallels between his conduct and historical atrocities should not be dismissed—they should ignite action. His appointment by RFK Jr. is not just a lapse in judgment—it is a clear and present danger to neurodivergent Americans. The community deserves protection, not persecution. This is not medicine. This is pseudoscience weaponized against the vulnerable.
In this moment, we must stand up and say: never again. Not to this. Not to them.

{{Something I posted on X and bluesky, and thought it should go here as well. Not my usual type of content but... necessary.}} Recently, a proposal supported by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has surfaced: a sweeping, centralized autism study aimed at collecting Americans' medical records, genomic data, insurance claims, and personal fitness data. Ostensibly, this project seeks to understand autism. But listen closely to the framing: Autism is described as a “plague”, a “burden”, and something “preventable.” That language should make all of us stop in our tracks because we’ve heard it before. In Nazi Germany, the T4 Program — Aktion T4 — was launched under a similar pretense: to alleviate suffering. To reduce “burdens.” To improve society. But what it did was murder over 275,000 disabled and neurodivergent people, including children and adults with autism, epilepsy, intellectual disabilities, and mental illness. They were labeled “unfit.” “Broken.” “Unworthy of life.” They were sent to institutions where they were gassed, starved, or experimented on — all in the name of “science” and “progress.” We like to believe this couldn’t happen here. But American eugenics inspired Nazi ideology. We sterilized tens of thousands of people deemed mentally or genetically “inferior.” We institutionalized children for being different. We erased Autistic voices from medical conversations for decades. When a person in power suggests that autism should be prevented, that we are a societal burden, he is not offering progress. He is resurrecting a dangerous ideology — one that cloaks its violence in concern and science. What happens when millions of medical records are centralized in one place? Who gets access? Who decides what “normal” looks like? And who gets erased in the pursuit of a “cleaner” or more “manageable” population? Without transparency, consent, and leadership from neurodivergent voices, such a program becomes a surveillance weapon, not a research tool. Autistic people do not need to be fixed. We do not need to be studied like broken machines or catalogued like problems to be solved. We are human, and we are here. We need support, not sterilization. We need inclusion, not institutions. We need affirmation, not erasure. So I say this clearly: We must resist any policy, program, or political campaign that treats neurodivergent people as a mistake to be corrected. We must demand oversight, transparency, and nothing about us without us. And we must remember: when society begins to define people as burdens, it never stops at data. History shows us where that road ends. Let us not take that path again. To every Autistic person, to every disabled advocate, to every ally in this fight, your voice matters. Your life matters. Let us raise those voices together loudly, fearlessly, and in defiance of every system that tries to silence us. Because we will not be culled. We will not be corrected. We will be heard.

America's race to become Gilead
The dystopian world of "The Handmaid's Tale" portrays a government called Gilead, where authoritarian rule, religious extremism, and severe oppression, particularly of women, dominate society. While the United States has not reached this level of totalitarianism, certain political trends and rhetoric in recent years have drawn close comparisons, and it's expected to rise in the coming months. Here's the breakdown:
1. Similarity of the Current U.S. Government to Gilead — 4/10
While there are worrisome trends, the U.S. government still operates as a democracy with functioning institutions thanks to the democrats and our courts. However, some parallels include:
Restrictions on Bodily Autonomy: Overturning of Roe v. Wade (2022). Abortion rights have been significantly curtailed or banned in many states. In The Handmaid's Tale, reproductive control is central to Gilead’s oppression.
Increased Surveillance and Policing: Certain states have enacted laws encouraging citizen reporting on those seeking abortions or gender-affirming care, echoing Gilead's culture of surveillance.
Rise of Christian Nationalism: A growing number of politicians advocate for Christian nationalism, promoting laws that align with conservative religious values, resembling Gilead’s theocratic system.
However, checks and balances still exist, there is still our freedom of speech, and elections continue, which keeps the comparison from being higher.
2. Similarity of Republican Views, Elon Musk's Views, Project 2025, and Trump's Regime to Gilead — 8/10
The convergence of certain right-wing ideologies and authoritarian leadership styles with Gilead’s oppressive system is more striking:
Republican Views (Far-Right Factions)
Restrictive Social Policies: Opposition to abortion, LGBTQ+ rights, and gender-affirming care mirrors Gilead’s strict social order.
Suppression of Dissent: Attempts to ban books, restrict education, and silence opposing views in certain states resemble the control of information seen in Gilead.
-----
Elon Musk’s Views & Actions
Authoritarian Leadership Style: Musk has been criticized for silencing dissent and spreading disinformation on X (formerly Twitter), similar to how Gilead suppresses opposition.
Promotion of Conservative Figures: By reinstating banned accounts, promoting right-wing voices, and participating in discussions with authoritarian-leaning leaders, Musk aligns with those who seek to reshape society in a more hierarchical order.
Elon Musk’s Focus on Low Birth Rates — A Gilead-Like Concern:
In The Handmaid's Tale, Gilead is formed in response to a plummeting birth rate, leading to the enslavement of fertile women to force reproduction.
Elon Musk's Statements:
Musk has repeatedly expressed concerns about a "population collapse", calling low birth rates the "biggest threat to civilization."
He has fathered 11 children and encouraged others to have large families, framing reproduction as a duty to society — a view disturbingly reminiscent of Gilead’s prioritization of fertility over individual autonomy.
His statements often ignore economic, social, and personal factors influencing birth rates, focusing instead on a quantitative need for more people.
-----
Project 2025 (Heritage Foundation Plan)
While Project 2025 is a real-world initiative and Gilead is fictional, several observers have noted parallels between the two. Key similarities include:
Restrictive Policies on Women's Reproductive Rights:
Project 2025: Advocates for stringent anti-abortion measures, including the reversal of FDA approval for abortion medications and the enforcement of the Comstock Act to prohibit mailing abortion-related materials. It also seeks to eliminate insurance coverage for emergency contraception and defund organizations like Planned Parenthood.
Gilead: Implements extreme control over women's reproductive functions, assigning them roles strictly related to childbirth and enforcing policies that strip them of autonomy over their bodies.
Emphasis on Traditional Family Structures:
Project 2025: Promotes policies that favor heterosexual, intact marriages, expressing skepticism about other family forms. It suggests that children raised outside of traditional marriages face higher levels of instability and poorer outcomes.
Gilead: Mandates a rigid family structure based on traditional, religiously defined roles, with severe penalties for deviations from these norms.
Integration of Religious Ideology into Governance:
Project 2025: Seeks to align government policies with conservative Christian values, influencing areas such as education, health, and civil rights.
Gilead: Establishes a theocratic regime where religious doctrine dictates laws and societal norms, merging church and state into a singular authority.
Censorship and Control of Information:
Project 2025: Proposes removing "divisive narratives" and "improper ideology" from public institutions, including museums and educational materials, to promote a specific set of values.
Gilead: Exercises strict control over information, censoring or altering historical and educational content to align with its ideological stance.
Restructuring of Government Agencies:
Project 2025: Plans to dismantle or significantly alter federal agencies, such as the Department of Education and the Federal Trade Commission, to reduce government oversight and promote conservative policies.
Gilead: Overhauls existing governmental structures to centralize power and enforce its authoritarian rule, eliminating checks and balances.
-------
Trump's Regime
Authoritarian Tendencies: Trump's frequent attacks on democratic institutions, efforts to overturn the 2020 election, and use of fear-based rhetoric align with Gilead's model of controlling the population through fear and propaganda.
Misinformation and Loyalty: Gilead rewards loyalty and punishes dissent. Trump consistently prioritizes loyalty over competence, resembling this dynamic.
Disregard for Women's Rights: Trump's history of derogatory comments about women, opposition to abortion, and gendered attacks mirrors the patriarchal oppression seen in Gilead.
Specific Similarities to Gilead:
Bodily Autonomy Restrictions: U.S. abortion laws vs. Gilead's forced pregnancies.
Surveillance and Reporting Culture: Citizen reporting laws (Texas abortion law) vs. Gilead's informants.
Centralized Power & Dismantling Democracy: Project 2025 aims to centralize executive power like Gilead’s rigid hierarchy.
Religious Nationalism: The rise of Christian nationalism and laws that reflect religious morals echo Gilead’s theocracy.
Marginalization of Minority Groups: Attacks on LGBTQ+ rights, immigration, and voting rights mirror Gilead’s exclusionary policies.
Propaganda & Disinformation: Misinformation campaigns and media control efforts reflect Gilead’s state-run propaganda.
In Gilead, women's worth is tied entirely to their fertility, with forced pregnancies justified by a supposed need to save humanity. Musk’s rhetoric reflects a similar worldview, where reproduction is treated as a societal imperative, minimizing individual choice in favor of population growth.
There are also notable similarities in how the U.S. government, particularly under Trump’s regime and far-right factions, views and interacts with other countries, mirroring Gilead’s aggressive and isolationist foreign policy in The Handmaid’s Tale. I'll break that down:
Isolationism and "America First" Ideology Gilead's Foreign Policy:
Gilead isolates itself from much of the world, cutting off international cooperation while leveraging its resources (particularly fertile women) for power. It relies on fear and military strength, with minimal diplomatic engagement except for strategic alliances.
Trump's "America First" Doctrine:
Trump repeatedly withdrew the U.S. from international agreements, including the Paris Climate Accord and the Iran Nuclear Deal, reflecting a nationalistic, isolationist stance. He placed heavy emphasis on trade wars, particularly with China, and reduced commitments to traditional allies like NATO, prioritizing U.S. dominance over diplomacy. Sanctions and tariffs were used as weapons rather than negotiation tools, much like how Gilead uses its limited resources for leverage.
Militarization and Threat of Force Gilead's Use of Military Power:
Gilead exerts dominance through military force, leveraging fear both domestically and internationally. Military shows of strength are used to project power, despite the country’s internal instability.
U.S. Under Trump and Current Far-Right Views:
Trump repeatedly increased military spending and often threatened countries with military action, such as North Korea and Iran. He ordered the assassination of Iranian General Qassem Soleimani, a bold move that escalated tensions globally. The rhetoric often emphasized dominance over diplomacy, reminiscent of Gilead's aggressive approach.
Dehumanization of Foreign Populations Gilead's Perspective on Other Nations:
Gilead views itself as morally superior, seeing other nations as corrupt or inferior, particularly those with more liberal values. In the show, countries that refuse to align with Gilead’s values are dismissed or demonized.
U.S. Far-Right Nationalist Rhetoric:
Trump and far-right figures have dehumanized immigrants and foreign populations, referring to: Mexican immigrants as “rapists” and “criminals.” African nations as “shithole countries.” Travel bans targeting Muslim-majority countries reflected a willingness to exclude and isolate entire populations based on identity — a tactic Gilead uses to maintain purity.
Undermining International Agreements and Cooperation Gilead:
Gilead ignores international norms, engaging only in negotiations that directly benefit its survival. It has no regard for human rights or international law.
Trump Administration and Far-Right Influence:
Trump openly disparaged allies, including traditional partners in NATO and the G7, while showing favor to authoritarian leaders like Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong-un. Refusal to adhere to international agreements on climate, trade, and arms control mirrors Gilead’s rejection of international norms. Elon Musk also displays a similar attitude of operating outside international standards, particularly in handling Starlink satellites, where he has reportedly restricted Ukrainian access to avoid escalating conflicts.
Religious Exceptionalism and Moral Superiority Gilead:
Views itself as a chosen nation, with a mission to restore "moral order" under religious law, considering other countries morally corrupt.
Religious Nationalism in U.S. Politics:
Christian nationalism has grown within the U.S., with politicians advocating for policies that reflect conservative Christian values, often at the expense of secular law. Trump often framed the U.S. as a “Christian nation”, portraying opponents as godless globalists, echoing Gilead’s moral superiority. Project 2025 also emphasizes Christian nationalist ideals, seeking to rewrite policy to reflect religious values.
-----
Final Summary:
Current U.S. Government: 4/10 — Democratic institutions remain, but authoritarian trends are increasing.
Republican Views, Elon Musk, Project 2025, and Trump's Regime: 8/10 — Strong parallels with Gilead’s oppressive and hierarchical society. The focus on controlling reproduction and birth rates adds a powerful Gilead-like element.
While the U.S. is not ~yet~ Gilead, the erosion of rights, rapid rise of authoritarianism, and politicization of religion are concerning trends that mirror many elements of the dystopian story. Think on that for a moment! If the book or TV show was distressing to you, then we as a society must not allow our country to become Gilead, and we must use everything within our power to prevent it from happening.

Fennorian house guest released today
So for our Elder Scrolls Online players and fellow Fenn lovers, ESO released our boy in the crown store. It was a long-awaited release considering he was datamined back before Gold Road released. Now, while I enjoy watching him wander all over my Keep, Zenimax could do us a solid and release him as a companion. That way we could take him to all those places he's wanted to explore. And if they decide to add him in another quest, it's easy enough to deactivate his follower figure when in the area, like the Infinite archive.

So... I've been working on re-creating the Dragonborn race from D&D (also BG3) to make it a playable race in Skyrim, along with some NPC's also. A few additional scales along the rest of the spine and the body will be done. Then the feet and hands after that. Then I feel the head will take up a lot of time, getting it weight painted and using either the argonian or a new tri file, whichever has to be done. Tail is optionally added in RaceMenu, along with horns, fins, and spines. And, no, this won't replace Argonians, 'cept maybe one or two.
Just a very, very, very small sample of the massive clothing mod I've been working on as well. This mod will replace the vanilla clothing and armor in Skyrim, ranging from truly realistic to high fantasy. None of the armor sets will be skimpy, although a few sets of clothing could be considered skimpy however they are equivocal to ESO's and BG3's styles, so more tasteful than the usual fare on Nexus. I'll be using Skypatcher and another mod to distribute them into the world and in vendors and chests. And we're talking about color variants as well. I estimate there's easily double the number of outfits Divine Elegance or others have. They will be built on CBBE 3BA and HIMBO v5, and I'm learning how to make my own cloth physics so there's that.
True D&D Dragons. Both chromatic and metallic dragons are planned to replace all the dragons in the game utilizing the 4legs good 2 legs bad skeletons. If they work well in game of course. We'll see.

Yup, these two are still in the works. I needed to step back a little and have a break from working on them for a bit. I still take a bit of time to write up more dialogue every now and again. Joshua's armor went through a LOT of changes to make the mesh and texture entirely my own creation so it's not fully reflected in the screenshot. I lost a bit of wind in my sails with the other "physically based" armor mod appearing on Nexus, as well as that "companions" mod that has a bunch of 3/NV characters making an appearance also. But it's whatever. At least my mod won't require anything other than extended dialogue. Well, that's about it really. I'd like to make a few other followers for skyrim and FO4 but only after Joshua and Trahearne are finished and released, otherwise I'll be way too backlogged. It's a fight between my adhd and hf-asd, tug-of-war style most days, lol. I know I keep disappearing every couple of years but hey, it's just a page, just some updates, nothing priceless. I always appreciate people who take an interest in what I'm doing. Not a fan of drama that tends to follow fandoms but that's why I don't interact much anymore.

Some BG3 screenshots of my Tav and my bf's Durge. I adore this couple. The dynamic of my gentle and overly (sometimes to her detriment) kind selkie bard, and his paladin Durge who is a leader and strives to do good despite the demons of his forgotten past urging him to take back up his bloody and savage former life. Nature vs Nurture applies here, and in the end, he breaks completely away from Bhaal to live a far better life with the woman he loves. And with his and their party's help, she's able to retrieve her stolen seal skin, giving her back her voice. And after the journey ends, they (including Scratch, Hoots the owlbear, and Yenna) sail back to the Moonshae Isles, Gwennith. Playing a bard who can't talk and isn't a giant horn dog has been a lot of fun, both in Baldur's Gate 3 and the D&D campaign we have every other Saturday. You see, I made sure charisma was my highest stat,. leaving most of the other stats at about average, and STR is below average. She runs mostly heals, buffs and CHA spells. I love tasha's hideous laughter and the hypno wheel!

Done. If you are one of the people who followed me to keep up to date with my mods, I'm sorry to let you know that I'll no longer be making updates on Tumblr. I am a mod author who's worked on all sorts of mods, primarily helping others fix their own mods, but I have a few that I can call my own, just not publically released. Yet. These past several weeks have been tough for me. If you're unaware, there's a nationwide shortage of Adderal in the United States, so it's one of the necessary medications I need to function on a semi-normal level. I take a LOT of medications due to being a victim of CSA/CA/SA/R, and other diagnosed illnesses I've been fighting. And, if you're genetically female and have inattentive ADHD that went undiagnosed because it used to be a boy's only syndrome, which we now know is not the case, then you can relate when your brain and eyes aren't on the same playing field. Sometimes missing sentences, or chapters in books, always forgetting names, dates, and times even if you were told it one minute ago, having low/no motivation for work and fun, easily getting overwhelmed, and the constant fear of rejection and being far too hard on yourself. None of that is fun, and I will never understand the romanticization of ADHD by others. I have a few things that really bring me joy, modding being one. Another is the study of entomology. Bugs. It really brightens up my day seeing bug posts, especially people handling safe insects with care and respect. Well, one such post came across my feed the other day and I was just all excited because I, being in the US, found two of those insects quite randomly. It was a real treat and I did a lot of reading on them and kept them for a short time before returning them to the wild. Except... this was an insect that looked nearly identical to the one I had found. Mind you, it was late at night, I am losing my eyesight (which scares me), and my unmedicated brain did not see any tags at the time. Well, it's very, VERY common to misidentify insects when they tend to mimic each other, and I'm always ok with correcting any information with accurate updates. Except... the comment and tags from the poster before me, Endivinity, were less than... kind... in their response to my post. In fact, the tone came across as demeaning, which is a bit of a gut punch since I've been a fan of their Deathclaw artwork for a few years now. Sadly, that's no longer the case. I try to be courteous to others in the way that I interact with them, and we all make silly mistakes, but their admonishment for me not "reading their tags" really can't be taken as any other context but "you didn't read MY tags, are you stupid?" Well, no, I have a developmental disability that impacts my daily life, and without meds, it's 5x worse. Sorry for not seeing your tags? I guess I was under the false pretense that Tumblr was more understanding and inclusive to people with disabilities, and the way we spoke to each other reflected the fact that many of us here have been abused/discriminated against outside of the online world. Who wants to perpetuate that? Easy mistake since people still find the mask of anonymity emboldening. But, it's not really what I'm interested in seeing or engaging with. I'm almost 40 and still trying to heal from trauma, so I'm going to take this interaction as a lesson. I'm still going to work on my mods, but I probably won't post updates here any longer. I'll figure out where eventually lol. Thanks to everyone who was following me to keep abreast of my projects, you guys rock.
