Hello Tumblr. On average, do you think humans are more inclined toward evil or good? Are people born with naturally differing moral compasses that act as the basis for their future values, regardless of how they are then skewed by upbringing? Can you be inherently evil?

Can a thought hold moral value if it is never acted on? Is somebody's morality determined by their actions or their mindset? What if they do something wrong but feel remorse for it to their very core? What if they never do anything wrong but fantasize about doing so and wish they could?

It's so embarrassing that Dylan and Eric were basically my age. What have I accomplished by 17? Being an unemployed drop-out? I mean, I don't condone what they did, but at least they were doing something.

The “Yes, the Menendez brothers were abused, but they still shouldn’t have killed” argument never made sense to me. They did what they believed they had to. Would you rather they have taken their chances? Ended up dead without ever being free and their story never being told?

Maybe my own experiences have just made me too comfortable resorting to violence, but there’s not a bone in my body that doesn’t understand and support them taking the course they did. Good for them, truly.
