I just want to say, something that bugs me as a reader, especially a reader who’s heavily into the online fandoms of the series I read, it genuinely bothers me when the MMCs/Male love interests get talked about more than the actual female MAIN characters. Like with Violet for example. I love Xaden down, don’t get me wrong, but I swear to god the majority of the conversations revolve around him, fans shitting on Vi for her decisions to hold out on him in IF, etc etc. This also happens with the House of Devils series (a new love of mine), and the FMC Loren is literally never talked about by the online fandom, just her bf Darien. And like I get it, these fandoms are predominantly straight women and these MMCs are literally perfect (Rhys, Darien, and Xaden are my top three so believe me I know) but idk it just bugs the shit out of me that the FMCs seem to be sidelined in their own stories bc the readers wanna fuck their men lol.
