⇰ the pause. THE PAUSE. like “are we doing this? oh god we’re doing this.”

⇰ looking at each other’s mouths like it’s a life-or-death decision

⇰ someone whispering “can I?” or “just once” before going for it and RUINING ME EMOTIONALLY

⇰ hands. gripping shirts. cupping faces. hovering like “do I touch?? I WANNA TOUCH”

⇰ breath hitching?? yes. shakiness?? absolutely.

⇰ that stupid moment where one of them pulls back a few inches like “wait are you sure” and the other just goes for it again

⇰ kissing like they’re scared it’ll be the last time

⇰ kissing like they’ve been waiting ten goddamn years

⇰ teeth clashing awkwardly and both laughing about it but STILL FEELING IT

there's no denying that reset is amazing, but i've been trying to figuring out why it's hitting this hard. my answer? it's the yearning. we don't really see characters yearn these days. i mean sure, there may be mentions of yearning but we don't really see the progression and perhaps that is a reflection of modern times where almost everyone and everything is so accessible.

the desire and longing armin and thada feel for each other (amplified by fate and a few lifetimes of secret admiration) is so palpable that it sometimes hurts (so good) to watch—especially thada. he loves and craves armin with every single fiber of his being that even his breathing is labored by his desire. am i jealous? yes. do i love to see it? also, yes. in conclusion, bring back yearning.

I am loving their chemistry! I hope they do another series, but as friends to lovers. Friends who grew up together and have known each other for years and realize they can't live without the other. I could even see lovers to exes to lovers. I love fights/banter with history like that behind it. l know they are probably one and done couple wise, but that's my hope. A girl can dream.

Whenever Tada does something for Armin, the poor baby cries. Any time he feels supported and loved, he can't help but tear up. What I keep thinking about is how crappy was his relationship with Charlie? Was this poor, sweet child just living off crumbs and scraps? Is that why Tada overwhelms him? Granted, Tada is the entire Amazonian rain forest he's so green, but come on.

I know Jay is hurt by finding out how he did but the formality and distance he immediately put between them is exactly why Calvin hid his identity in the first place. He should have told Jay at some point but I get why he would want to be treated like a regular person.
