if anybody knew how vi could hold a grudge, it was gemma. she'd witnessed it plenty of times over the years. never did she think she would be on the receiving end of that though. after feeling that from her best friend, she never wanted to feel that way again. it was a huge risk, but it payed off. gemma held onto the hope that the pair would find their way back to each other eventually. never fully giving up. it was true, that she knew vivienne better than anybody. and that knowledge of all things the other wanted, is what saved her ass now. gem nodded, also knowing that this was just the first step to repairing their relationship. she still had to put in the effort and planned to do just that.

gemma slightly leaned into her touch when vivi wiped her tear away. just the fact that the girl she loved was really standing there in front of her made her emotional. she smiled and glanced to the necklace in vi's hands. "i'm so glad you love it. you don't have to thank me, i wanted to show you, without a doubt, how special you are to me. i should be thanking you, for coming and giving me another chance." the previous nerves gemma felt leading up to this moment had melted away. everything else didn't matter, in the moment it was just the two of them. she chuckled as vivienne made it clear the intention of taking things slow.
