giorgia  wasn't  usually  one  to  dwell  on  her  past  relationships,  but  with  her  literally  being  present  at  a  valentine's  day  themed  event,  it  was  difficult  not  to  think  about  how  she  was  currently  single.  it  wasn't  her  fault,  though  —  she'd  been  dragged  by  her  friends  to  attend  right  after  they'd  left  fashion  week,  so  she  didn't  have  much  of  a  choice.  giorgia  currently  had  her  phone in hand and her arm  raised,  looking  for  the  best  lighting  to  take  selfies  with,  when  she  almost  hit  someone.  she  mumbled  out  a  quick  apology,  then  looked  up  to  face  the  other.  seeing  gemma  caught  her  completely  off-guard  and  she  swore  her  heart  leaped  at  the  sight  of  her  former  fling.  ❝  gem!  it's  nice  to  see  you.  are  you  here  on  a  ...  date?  ❞

dear  upper  east  side  readers  ,  just  a  quick  reminder  that  valentine’s  day  is  right  around  the  corner  .  and  for  those  of  you  who  aren’t  opposed  to  the  holiday  ,  the  coney  island  valentine’s  day  carnival  is  back  .  

held  annually  at  coney  island  ,  this  carnival  takes  place  from  friday  ,  february  9  to  sunday  ,  february  18  .  ranging  from  thrill  seeking  rides  like  the  cyclone  to  something  a  little  more  causal  like  the  seaside  swing  ,  this  event  has  almost  everything  for  everyone  .  and  it  wouldn’t  be  an  upper  east  side  event  without  a  little  bit  of  philanthropy  .  along  with  the  rides  and  game  booths  ,  additional  carnival  booths  have  been  set  up  with  proceeds  going  towards  the  american  heart  association  .  word  has  it  that  the  kissing  booth  is  still  looking  for  volunteers  .

the  carnival  is  open  to  all  and  while  casual  ,  we  sure  hope  you  won’t  disappoint  by  showing  up  in  anything  less  than  your  best  .  did  you  need  a  reminder  that  it’s  fashion  week  too  ?  but  we  guess  we  can  say  it’ll  be  more  disappointing  to  show  up  alone  .

we’re  positive  our  upper  east  side  faves  will  be  making  an  attendance  .  rumor  has  it  ,  some  of  them  might  be  volunteering  at  the  kissing  booth  .  as  always  ,  make  sure  your  nepoupdates  notifications  are  on  !  we’ll  be  reporting  live  and  would  hate  for  you  to  miss  out  .

out  of  character:  this  is  a  full  length  event  !  the  duration  is  two  weeks  ,  starting  on  friday  ,  february  16th  at  12:00  am  est  and  will  last  until  sunday  ,  march  3rd  at  11:59  pm  est  .

in  character:  the  carnival  will  take  place  for  one  week  ,  starting  on  friday  ,  february  9th  ,  2024  to  sunday  ,  february  18th  at  coney  island  .  you  can  view  this  pinterest  board  for  event  inspiration  .  this  is  a  dash  only  event  .

event  participation  is  optional  ,  however  highly  encouraged  !  by  participating  in  the  event  ,  you  can  apply  for  10  points  from  our  points  system  !  points  can  be  redeemed  for  both  ooc  &  ic  prizes  .

please  utilize  the  #nepofm.event008  tag  for  any  event  related  posts  be  it  muse  outfits  or  starters  .  feel  free  to  share  your  muse’s  outifts  in  our  ooc  discord  channels  as  well  !

we'll  be  having  VOLUNTEERS  for  this  event  !  muns  are  encouraged  to  plot  and  headcanon  which  booths  they've  chosen  to  volunteer  for  (  having  your  muse  volunteer  is  completely  optional  )  . 

nepoupdates  will  be  interactively  involved  in  the  event  .  muses  can  send  in  anonymous  (  or  not  )  tips  to  the  gossip  blog  .

once  the  event  is  over  ,  you  may  continue  &  finish  the  threads  from  the  event  but  please  do  not  start  any  new  ones  !  if  you  decide  to  fade  to  black  plots  for  event  ,  please  leave  plotting  updates  for  nepoupdates  .
