He was stationed at his desk marking papers when he saw the report slipped under his door in his peripheral vision.
Typical. Hand it in late and run.
The chair made a scraping noise across the floor as he pushed against it in order to stand up and make his way towards the abandoned assignment. Gloved digits latched onto it as he looked for the name of the one who wrote it in order to assess the situation.
Of course.
He flung the paper towards his desk, Aki grabbing it before it could hit the floor instead. The Tonberry placed it neatly on the ‘to be marked’ pile before twacking his tail on the desk.
“Write a -10 on it by the time I return, please. It seems an after-school lecture is in order.” Maybe one day these damn kids would learn that no one escapes the icy blade of death.
