Like most Dj's Gravity One was fan of the music before he got into djing. Being a fan of hip hop music/culture, he was always aware of the dj and what they would do. He never thought that a hobby he picked up could turn into something he would pursue as a career. He got his start djing in 1998 on a set up his older brother bought out of a catalog. From the first chance Gravity got a chance to give djing a try it instantly became a new hobby for him. Gravity One spent his early years being influenced by DMC dj battles and mixshow dj’s on L.A. radio stations from 1994-2000. Some would say that that was the golden era for djing/hip hop culture. It was those influences that made him the well rounded dj he is today. Whether he’s playing Hip Hop, Top 40, House/Electro, Gravity One’s open format style of djing keeps any dance floor packed and the energy level high to keep any crowd fully entertained. You can catch Gravity One moving crowds all over Southern California (Los Angeles, Hollywood, O.C. Hermosa Beach, Santa Monica) The passion for djing Gravity One has is something will probably never go away, and he would probably still be djing even if he was still in his room practicing.
