makes me crazy that despite how much bigger and showier urizen is, v is just...so much more of vergil. where urizen is vergil's inner child lashing out and his need to be the baddest bitch in town, v is vergil's love of poetry, his trauma, his love for dante, his inner child wanting to heal, his self awareness of just what a mess he is, and the grieving son. and it makes me crazy because v is what vergil suppressed! v is what vergil thought was holding him back! v is what vergil tried to very literally cut out of himself! urizen is two or three basic emotions and that's the part of himself vergil thought deserved to thrive and grow. crazy game for crazy people.
