The Dragon Phalanx
Here lies the city of Amara, named after the goddess Amara. It is named so because it is here that her "hand", the White Hand of Amara resides. The city was once a hub for trade across the Great Blue Sea, but now none dare cross it, thus leaving the docks dilapidated and ruined at the bottom of the Dead Falls. Adventurers once came here in mass to take the entry exams required to officially enter a dungeon, but none who live carry the will to join anymore. The Adventurers Guild is but a shell of what it once was, and Adventurers are a rarity in this part of the world. Monsters have begun leaving their Dungeons, no longer hunted, and there are rumors of the Seanchan's return. This is the world you dare to set foot in, and dare to adventure in. No one has mapped the world in generations as the law once forbade it. Life is short and hard, I hope you live to tell of it.

Example Campaign Hook
Everyone in the world has powers, and that is the way the world has been for 150 years. Today is the first day of school at the prestigious academy known as Sky High. Students from all around the world have been carefully recommended to come to such a selective school. Only a small number are allowed to test in. A few of the graduates of this academy will join the Republic’s armed forces or secret police if they show promise in combat. Most others can find a comfortable job in the Capital, teaching or helping others as a ‘Super Hero’.
Geopolitical Situation
Powers made the World collapse into chaos and war for many years, but the Republic rose above it all, instating a class system that would hold the masses in line. It has been 47 years since the Republic united all of Europe, North America, and parts of Eastern Asia. The areas outside are called the Forbidden Lands, and there are always rumors abound about them. Powers are ranked on a scale from F-S and that determines one’s place in society unless one is lucky, or has the right connections.

Elesia: Season 1, Episode 4 (The Otter Empire)

Elesia: Season 1, Episode 3 (Catarina)
Our band of adventurers, not yet heroes, has arrived in the ainchent city of Catarina. There new friends were rescued and much was gambled. Once again, they did not stay long and soon made for the dead city of Lenpar (Zor Aéstür) to utilize it’s ships, and avoid the war. This would have been a fool-hearty plan, if Lady Ohio was not with the group, and if there was not great need to get to Astora.

Elesia: Prologue/Season 1, Episode 1 (Asylum)
The land of Elesia and the world it resides in has been without Heroes for hundreds of years. The last two, a Dwarf and an Aasimar were last seen a little over 400 years ago on the far side of the world. The time without heroes has not been kind to Elesia. A great Civil War rages, and darkness clouds the land, leading to a fanatical worship of the Sun and all of its light.
Fortunately, new age is dawning, and in exodus from the old Northern Asylum, a band of adventurers may form. Some seeking their memories, others a way home, and some, to end the civil war that quakes the land.
