Im exagerating a little, I suspect Michael Engler is doing heroic behind the scenes work to wrangle the actors and fully realize the elevated travesty qualities of the script and Im very very interested in co-writer Sonja Warfield and would love to hear from her (I suspect she's responsible for certain nuances Fellowes has famously bungled before) but I really dont believe anyone else could bring BEDECKED IN GEGAWS to my screen in a tone of pure anguish.
