LOW ON PRACTICE SKILL STAY CRAPPY DO BAD ART TO MAKE YOU HAPPY

Hey, I'm @dobadarttomakemehappy, a blog to celebrate doing really bad art to make you happy. Specifically, I'm Mod Eris, in case there are other mods on this blog later. You may also know me from @helveticadetector, although I don't promote this blog there at all.

My equipment: Ultramarine Linux, Wacom Intutos drawing tablet from a few years ago that I got used as a gift, sometimes a laptop with a touchscreen. I draw on Krita. I haven't spent a ton of money on art equipment, and am not getting any formal art education or doing art as a career. In fact, I'm a tech major mostly, and I do writing as a hobby, and the typography thing over on Helvetica Detector is a side hobby that stems from that, and this whole art thing is barely something I do at all between all the other stuff. No gatekeeping here. Come on in. (I might post my writing here, though. It's a lot better than my art. Not that bad art is a bad thing - that's the entire point!!!)

I would like to post art to this blog as an excuse to draw badly and regularly, and to gradually improve at art until someday, finally, it stops being bad art while continuing to make me happy. And hopefully you. That would be nice too.
