I am so thrilled to be releasing a video for my new song, “Somebody Got There First,” through @amazonmusic tomorrow! Here is a piece I painted right after I wrote “Somebody Got There First” out on a sailboat in Tennessee. I’ve always been drawn to the aching romanticism of ships passing in the night. “Somebody Got The First” is an unrequited love song about poor timing and the loss of hope in what could’ve been. This was a very quick Nashville Air B & B painting, but I just thought I’d share. I look forward to sharing the video with you tomorrow!
