I just found out today that my in person adhd evaluation is gonna cost a little over $200 and no one at the office decided to tell me that until now. One week before that appointment. And it’s been scheduled for months

So as much as I hate to ask I’m just gonna throw my paypal out there in case anyone is able to help me out a little. I’ve been pretty good with finances lately but this was entirely unexpected

That is the Canadian number to Trans Lifeline, an independent organization. They already have a number specifically for folks in the USA! 877-565-8860⁣⁣ Canada has made no official statement about opening up any of their national hotlines to USA citizens."

And here's my own addition. Incorrect info may mean someone calls, gets no answer/told they can't help and they may not try again.

As someone who needed to call a crisis line during a particularly rough spiral back in November, sharing accurate information for stuff like this is important.
