Even managed to get a drink bought for me 😂

Now for home and a shower before repeating it tomorrow 😫😂

Today is going to be the hottest day of the week. I will be at work for most likely nearly 12 hours in a building with no air con (apart from the walk in fridge) that collects heat and humidity like it’s a competition. I don’t cope well with heat or humidity and it tends to wage war on my blood sugar control.

So I guess what I’m saying is, wish me luck 😂

I’m still buzzing tbh especially as I actually said what I wanted to say to her. It would have been very easy to have talked myself out of it in the moment.

She was lovely and kind. She was genuinely touched to hear that Berena means so much to people still.

She’s definitely someone I’d pay to meet again at another convention. Might try and get my Dream Demon poster signed next time. That could be fun!

I would like to preface this post with - I’m not a gardener. Not usually. It was more my parents sort of thing, especially my mum. Since she died my dad took over keeping the garden going but it’s got to the point where he finds it physically too much. So the back garden in particular hasn’t been done in a couple of years, potentially more.

For me to do the garden means finding the time and energy which is why it’s taken so long. But I wanted to share because I spent 3 hours gardening today. I’ve been cut by thorns and every muscle hurts. I’ve never before done so many squats 😂
