i Need the dw fandom to recognise that pussy was but a side quest in Yaz's list of life goals and what she wanted was stated in her very first episode, and that was to help people, and she travelled with the doctor because she identified her as a Way to help people, and then over the course of her arc she symbolically Becomes the Doctor and saves the day when Thirteen has basically been erased from existence, fulfilling her goal to help people by Being the doctor.

Yaz ends her arc by fulfilling her main goal from her very first appearance on the show. Her coming of age arc is complete, she's grown up, and she's even had a sexuality discovery in there too.

The Doctor is a symbol, the doctor is an aspiration. Yaz's idk, purity of ideals is emphasized in the Master's contrasting breakdown and literal theft of the Doctor's body to Be them out of his own newfound self loathing. It doesn't work because the doctor is not a body, it's an ideal. One that Yaz had the entire time and achieves in The Power of the Doctor, the culmination of her transformation into the ideal by removing her safety net (Thirteen) and making her do most of the work.

Voila, Beginning to End, achievement unlocked; Doctor Yaz.
