Sims 4 - TARDIS Adventures *Companions*

Hey folks, I was stuck with maaaany bugs while working on new features. Thus I spent most of the time fixing them and failed too often while trying it. But here it is: TARDIS Adventures with features you have been waiting for!

New Animation getting inside TARDIS

Yep, it took a while to create a more or less usable animation. Sims are no longer behaving like ghosts when trying to posses get inside the TARDIS. It is far from being perfect, especially with other chameleon models like SIDRAT or Gallifreyan Entrance. But I have decided to share it with you nevertheless. This means that I am still working on it, to make it look better.

Initially I wanted to make a custom posture - but found out that it is completely impossible to make a custom posture. Even copying existing postures corrupts the original animation for whatever reason (must be due to a an annoying python script). I found that one out the hard way with countless sleepless nights. I am still on it though. Sadly, there is no other modder out there who has succeeded on this task. But I am not giving up.

More Emotion Impact

When a TARDIS is angry, it can project its anger on the Sim that is using a room inside the TARDIS. Find out on your own what it means. ;)

I don't want to spoiler much, but on this point it's important for a major feature coming up, which will spice up the TARDIS Adventures gameplay.

Materializing TARDIS

Another cool thing I managed to add is that the TARDIS actually materializes when traveling on lots with her. So no need to drag her out from the inventory. And when you go home, your TARDIS will return to you automatically.

NOTE: When traveling to actual lots via TARDIS the ship will eventually land off lot. Thus you can not drag the object while being off lot. In most cases you don't need that anyway. However you can fix it by clicking on the TARDIS and select "Put in Inventory". Then you can drag it from your inventory (if there is enough space on the lot).

For Patreons: Companions

I never thought this could be possible, but here I am introducing this feature to you: A Sim can become your companion, if he have ever talked to a TARDIS or explored one before. He must be familiar with this kind of space ship. Then your TARDIS owner Sim can hand over a TARDIS key and voilà - you have a new companion who can also use the ship. Your Sim can always decide to revoke the key. But this will have an emotional impact on the former companion. Companions can not stir the ship and thus are not able to fly somewhere. But they can use the rooms inside the TARDIS.

Sims 4 - Time Lord Scenario *Updated Mk3*

With this scenario your Sim can try to master regeneration in order to become a Time Lord. With this scenario your Sim will be better at mental skills, but also a bit clumsy when it comes to socializing and social skills. Will you reach immortality (only possible with Realm of Magic or Vampire Gamepack) with the help of a potion or vampire bite? Or will your Sim regenerate by being resurrected after death? Either way you will be rewarded with Time Lord abilities, which include additionally no need to sleep, immortality (if not already gained) and lower hunger (low hunger: becoming dazed).

Update This scenario hasn't shown up with the latest patch. I updated this scenario to Mk3. It is now compatible with the latest game version 1.91.186.1030.

Sims 4 - UNIT Career *Update*

I had to recreate this mod from scratch. This is why it took so long and also why your Sim needs to start the UNIT career anew again. Your Sim may has all needed qualifications to serve UNIT, but so much has changed since then. You know...technology, extraterrestrial knowledge. All former soldiers should learn everything from the start.

Besides updating this mod, I also added promotion tasks and I plan to integrate chance cards, chances of becoming famous, career tones and daily tasks. Maybe I can add an option to work from home too. We'll see.

Making this mod was way too complicated. Usually, scenarios are not working with ghosts/dead participants and the role trait gets deleted as soon as the Sim dies. I had to make a loop that constantly adds the scenario role trait to actually make this work on dead Sims. I probably could have done it far less complicated. But hey - at least it works.

Sims 4 - TARDIS Adventures *TARDIS Emotions* (I am back again)

Hello, welcome back! It's been an enourmous long time and many things happened. Because I don't want to bore you with my personal life, let me keep it short: I study human medicine in munich and I had troubles to find a roof over my head. Fortunatly, I found my home and things are getting way better. And that means: I have finally time for modding again.

I started updating TARDIS Adventures. Other mods will be updated to. After that there will be new content for TARDIS Adventures and after that I have a big announcement to make. A new very big modpack is on it's way (not only for Whovians). I work since 2 years on it and I hoping to realease it soon. :)

Free Update: TARDIS Emotions

I mean - sure, TARDIS shouldn't have human emotions, right? But they are still sentient beings. So your actions will now have an impact on your TARDIS mood. So if you neglect your TARDIS, it will make it angry and it will take revenge. So make sure your ship is happy. This feature is not very complex just yet. I am planing to add more depth to this new way of interacting with your TARDIS in future updates. But if you want to manually change your TARDIS emotion as well (for gameplay reasons), you can do it any time via cheats (shift+click on TARDIS).

Bug Fixes:

Sims will actually leave the Sonic Shower when clean. We don't want them to get wrinkled skin.

Social-interactions with the TARDIS are now animated even for those who don't own City Living. Finally, no akward silence anymore.

Many other smaller bugs are now fixed.

Scripts now load way faster. I learned to script my mods cleaner.

After searching for Gallifrey and pleasing that weird creature by solving its riddle, Sims will actually get the book as a reward. The creature will not longer lie to your Sim. Honesty is important. (Patreon exclusive)

Share your Life with your TARDIS. Talk about your birthday, pregnancy or your promotion with your TARDIS! There are not only good things you can talk about. Complain about dry scales when you are a mermaid or discuss negative experiences as a famous Sim. These interactions are not always available. Just maintain your normal life and find out on your own. ;)

My future plans: 

I want to rework the whole TARDIS interactions thing. Sims won't behave like ghosts anymore. That's why I don't add more interactions/room. The whole system needs a fresh restart and I want it to make it possible to share the TARDIS (like Woohoo, travelling with others etc.).

Sims 4 - Cyberman Familiar (Realm of Magic)

Yes, "Handles" is real! He will accompany you through your magical day. Bind a rare Cyberman Head and enjoy is very special reactions to your actions. He can be found random in stalls or won in a battle (or use the "bb.showhiddenobjects" cheat). You can also let him calculate some chances of romantic interactions and more. 

Realm of Magic is required!!

You need MAL22's familiar additions mod in order for this to work!!

Calculating your chances in romantic interactions will either heighten your risk of failing in those interactions or succeeding. Mental Concentration will affect your reading abillity and mental skills. Physical Strength controls your fat/fit-gain, physical skills, cleaning speed, fatigue and the success of workouts and woohoos. Speed...well determines how fast your Sim can repair, craft or clean objects, write or read a book, play chess, form a Clay Bob and build a rocket ship.

Sims 4 - TARDIS Adventures *New Interiors for Patrons* + TARDIS Needs

Free Update: TARDIS Needs

All a ship needs is power, right? Well, a TARDIS has more needs. Make sure that the Dematerialization Circuit and Relativity Differentiator are functional. Otherwise your TARDIS is useless when i comes to travelling. Run Diagnostics with the Console Room to check your ships conditions. Oh - and you should maybe clean your ship from time to time. 

The Dematerialization Circuit is necessary to travel through time and space. It will break eventually when you travel a lot, so it requires maintenance. So does the Relativity Differentiator, which is vital for space travelling. Cleaning the TARDIS from time to time is also important, unless you want your Sim to live a messy lifestyle. To keep track of the TARDIS needs, you can run diagnostics in the control room. The TARDIS Voice Interface could be a great help when it comes to understanding the complex TARDIS diagnostic.

Shower time!

If you have a pool, you can use the Sonic Shower to wash a Sim way faster than with a regular shower.

Since this was requested a couple of times, I made this for you: A Time Lord experience for your Whovian-witches. Swing your magic Sonic Screwdriver and pretend being the 11th Doctor…because he does not actually exist - right? Or maybe conquer the world as the Master with his Laser Screwdriver. If you really want to feel nostalgic, use the Classic Sonic Screwdriver.

Because I am badly experienced when it comes to texture baking and UV mapping, the texture is of poor quality. I did the best I could. I am sorry for that and I hope it does not affect your gameplay experience. Have fun with it!
