For all the tinhats who think that it's a publicist fault if an actor can't find roles. That's not their job, it's the agent's.

Loads of fandom tinhats love to blame the object of their obsession's publicist for things that's not in their job description. Especially if the publicist is a woman.

How does an actor get a script or get in for audition to something that their team is not giving them.

Scripts & auditions are rarely an "ask and you shall receive" commodity for anyone who isn't already a star or planning on laying down some kind of capital.

If an agent isn't aggressively seeking the roles their client wants or passing on good opportunities, they need to be replaced. (There's really no excuse if an actor is signed with one of the big 3. They might still be capable of offering bad advice, but they have access to everything.)

PR can be used as a complementary strategy via networking and reputation building, but if every job opportunity is coming through a publicist or a peer or the actor advocating for themselves then that's a huge waste of commission $$ and they should seek better representation. 🐴

I think it's fairly clear that having your wedding guests sign a NDA so no details of the ceremony gets out is the very definition of private.

Private doesn't mean never leaving the house ffs, it means sharing what you want, when you want to who you want. Which is exactly what Chris and Alba are doing.

If Aeltri is such good friends with him, why didn’t she know in advance? Why is she always so surprised when there is evidence he is outside of London? It’s almost like she’s not actually friends with him and just an obsessed and very delusional Annie Wilkes type. It’s sad that anyone believes her.

As for NYC trial BS, I have no idea if it was posted on Twitter but I do know that Aeltri once again failed to do proper research. The court district mentioned doesn't exist. There was no due process and no one goes from accusations to trial in a week. Especially if there's extradition involved. The fact that the sQeptics are still using it proves that they are desperate to convince themselves they are right. They did something similar in another series. They hired Jenna Coleman to play a Québécoise. Jenna doesn't even speak French, so the accent was beyond a disaster. Even native French speakers needed subtitles to understand what she was saying. There are a lot of local actresses that speak English and could have been hired instead.

Once upon a time Netflix own shows were promising. But lately!.? Who on earth commissioned Dead Boy Detectives? The title cards alone 'Edwardian London 1916'! Then moving to the US immediately so they could use all those sub-par Brits who can't get work here, Canadians who can do a passable English accent and cheap Americans. It's about as appealing as a poke in the eye with a stick but nowhere near as sharp, even if they're allowed to say fuck 4 times an hour.
