Thank You!
There's still a long way to run, but after two years of production some thanks must be already done:

International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam, 22 Nov 2014
Do women make different documentaries than men? And do women come across different obstacles while trying to finance or produce their documentary projects? A 4 hours’ Industry Talk part of IDFA’s 2014 programme, named Female Gaze, tried to spot what position female directors occupy in the contemporary documentary industry. Some of the guests attending were the directors Kim Longinotto, Jessica Hu and Pirjo Honkassalo. I was invited to take part due to my latest work, especially with the film WOMEN ON WOMEN. Glad I did it.

---
In the next couple of weeks the director Catarina Neves Ricci will meet a few international and awarded European directors in UK at the 2nd IWFTH International Conference “Doing Women’s Film and Television History” at the University of East Anglia . Catarina Neves Ricci was invited to present WOMEN ON WOMEN at the Conference, which is really exciting. Besides, these work meetings are fundamental for the research, content and script of the film. Through these meetings the directors get to know better each others' filmography, narrative approach, aesthetics and film technics, allowing to learn more and experiment better.

MILANO
On Wednesday 4th of December we started what were 4 wonderful shooting days in the city of Milano and Lago di Mergozzo.

After Handan Ipekçi, who we filmed last May in Istanbul, WOMEN ON WOMEN went on for its 2nd chapter: the Italian Milano based film director Alina Marazzi.
Known for being a grey, rainy and unfriendly city to shoot on Winter, Milano happened to be only sunny - allowing us to capture a hidden charming side. I cannot unveil too much of the shooting, neither of our main protagonist and character, but once again I ask you to keep following us: it will worth it! Thank you to the crew; thank you Studio Azzurro and everybody at RAW. Catarina

İSTANBUL
On the Saturday 18th of May 2013, this team gave the kick start on WOMEN ON WOMEN documentary film, in the very special city of Istanbul!
Handan Ipekçi, Turkish film director, was our choice to start this cinematic journey of women directors' portrays. After 3 days of shooting, under very hot weather temperatures, and electric city' vibes, we are thrilled and excited about the results and willing to start the editing of this material.
Also, looking forward for the next destination...
Keep supporting us! Catarina
