sometimes CSA trauma makes me feel horrible in ways I can't even put into words

like a child trying to comprehend what foreign, painful things were happening to them during the event

I was just a child thrust into a world of hurt that shouldn't even be done to adults, who are actually capable of consenting, let alone those who can't, & won't for years

let's talk about it.

i am at a point where i have seen multiple people make cult jokes in this community or say they "want to be a cult leader" or something similar. i need all of you to understand that when you say that, that is no better than making a rape joke.

cults are not just a horror movie trope, they are a very real thing that many people have to face. cults are authoritarian groups that engage in organized abuse. they are traumatizing. there are people in cults, people who have left cults, who see these jokes you make.

cults are not a joke. cults are not some fantasy concept that dont exist. stop treating them like they are.
