Just got spoiled on tik tok that Taskmaster Antonia Dreykov is killed off in Thunderbolts and you don’t understand this brought tears to my eyes. What do you mean??? We could have seen this female character be fully fledged out, but no because the men and losers hated that she wasn’t the comic Taskmaster we don’t get that. And instead of writing the character out in some way no we’re gonna kill her off. Kill off a woman! I’m so hurt by this because I loved the ending of Black Widow seeing Antonia leave with Yelena to go save more of these girls and women from the Red Room, but god forbid we develop a female character. Her backstory reminds me a lot of Bucky’s and of course he’s an important character so we see his growth through several movies, but we could have seen only a glimmer of that in Thunderbolts for Antonia, but no.

I think the fact that bucky drives straight through the glass of the watchtower and into the lobby with a truck was comedic genius that was overlooked too quickly by us as a fandom
