he’s checked out of reality 90% of the time. he sometimes forgets that every chuck of flesh passing him by is an actual human. looking into his mind you’d find what resembles a static screen. unoccupied but filled with noise.

toby is jim beam and lucky strikes coded.

most of his days and nights consists of bonfires, doing reckless shit (he has no regard for the safety of himself or others), and committing horrid acts so hellish most news anchors can’t stomach to recite them.

he doesn’t really feel remorseful for what he’s done, but also doesn’t really have the consciousness to do so. like stated before, his mind replicates static in the way of being physically but not mentally there.

toby genuinely hates the being taunting his mind. it pisses him off that after diminishing one controlling force, another one came into play. this irritability sort of plays a part when he’s out doing his nightly vices.

the adrenaline and anger exerted through the grim acts silently given to him by this being have also sort of clouded all sense of logic, not leaving much room for comprehension of what he’s done.

irritability and aggression isn’t new to him though. toby has always been an angry boy. fire consumed his soul and has engulfed his every action since a young age. when exactly the fire consumed his entire being, turning him into this burning corpse, is a mystery.

but it might’ve been the day he got rid of his first issue, only to receive a more permanent and mind fucking one.

note - these ideas are more aimed towards toby being around 19. also, this is based off of my own interpretation of him. so don’t take it too serious if you disagree w some things stated

9. What are their thoughts on having children?

i mean, for beastkin, they have mating/heat cycles so for ren it's more or less instinctual... i wouldn't really like to have children, i think they're a joy but im too unstable to be a good parent www id love for us to be the aunts/uncles for friends' children and spoil them >:3 (also is there a gender neutral term for aunt/uncle?)

33. Who’s the better cook?

we both have the same cooking skill imo, we just have our own quirks! like ren tends to undercook meats and leave them a bit raw, and i can cook competently only if i have a recipe to follow verbatim EVEN if i have it memorized

usually ren just orders us takeout though haha but when we cook we cook together 🩷🧡
