　　The foreign exchange market, which is usually known as “forex” or “FX,” is the largest financial market in the world.

　　The FX market is a global, decentralized market where the worlds currencies change hands. Exchange rates change by the second so the market is constantly in flux.

　　Only a tiny percentage of currency transactions happen in the “real economy” involving international trade and tourism like the airport example above.

　　Instead, most of the currency transactions that occur in the global foreign exchange market are bought (and sold) for speculative reasons.

　　Currency traders (also known as currency speculators) buy currencies hoping that they will be able to sell them at a higher price in the future.

　　Compared to the “measly” $22.4 billion per day volume of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), the foreign exchange market looks absolutely ginormous with its $6.6 TRILLION a day trade volume.

　　Thats trillion with a “t”.

　　Lets take a moment to put this into perspective using monsters…

　　When people talk about the “market”, they usually mean the stock market. So the NYSE sounds big, its loud and likes to make a lot of noise.

　　But if you actually compare it to the forex market, it would look like this…

　　The currency market is over 200 times BIGGER! It is HUGE! But hold your horses, theres a catch!

　　That huge $6.6 trillion number covers the entire global foreign exchange market, BUT the “spot” market, which is the part of the currency market thats relevant to most forex traders is smaller at $2 trillion per day.

　　And then, if you just want to count the daily trading volume from retail traders (that‘s us), it’s even smaller.

　　It is very difficult to determine the exact size of the retail segment of the FX market, but its estimated to be around 3-5% of overall daily FX trading volumes, or around $200-300 billion (probably less).

　　So you see, the forex market is definitely huge, but not as huge as the others would like you to believe.

　　Don‘t believe the “forex is a $6.6 trillion market” hype! The huge number sounds impressive, but a bit misleading. We don’t like to exaggerate. We just keepin it real.

Abstract：Asian markets are finishing the week with another solid session, rising broadly in response to the overnight U.S. jobs data, which was better than expected for a second consecutive month.

　　Asian markets are finishing the week with another solid session, rising broadly in response to the overnight U.S. jobs data, which was better than expected for a second consecutive month. Gains could be tempered by the rising number of coronavirus cases in the U.S., or by the increasing strain between the U.S. and China. The market are climbing higher in this pre-holiday trade, making gains for the third session in a row. Once again the gains are coming after a solid overnight session on Wall Street, where investor risk appetite pushed markets higher ahead of the Christmas holiday. In Japan the Nikkei is edging modestly higher by 0.2%, with the Yen holding above the 114.00 level. Shares of Softbank Group are flat, with a loss of less than 0.1%, while shares of Sony are rising 0.3%. Among the major exporters Toyota is flat with a slight gain of less than 0.1%, Panasonic is up by 0.1%, and Canon has a modest 0.2% advance.

　　Australia‘s S&P/ASX 200 is leading gains for the region as it’s trading 0.6% higher. The largest four banks are supporting gains for the broader market as ANZ climbs 0.2% higher, NAB adds 0.7%, Commonwealth Bank advances 0.6%, and Westpac has a 0.7% gain. The major miners are also providing light support, with BHP adding 0.5% and Rio Tinto gaining 0.3%. In mainland China markets are bucking the rising trend from around the region, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite losing 0.2% and the smaller cap Shenzhen Composite falling 0.4%.

　　Meanwhile over in Hong Kong the Hang Seng is doing better than the mainland, rising 0.3%. South Koreas Kospi is trading 0.5% higher, and in Taiwan the Taiex is advancing 0.4%. Southeast Asian markets are mixed however, with the Straits Times in Singapore adding 0.2%, while the KLCI in Malaysia retreats by less than 0.1%, and the Jakarta Composite in Indonesia is flat at the open.

Abstract：Due to the increasing interest in Forex trading among South African youths and general citizens, many unscrupulous individuals have created their brokerage firms existing only online to scam new traders. Wikifx has taken the pains to identify some of these Fraud brokers. All South African traders are therefore advised to avoid dealing with these scam brokers identified by Wikifx below.

　　A. Alfla Success Corp.

　　This broker according to Wikifx rankings had scored 1.21/10. They are not regulated by anybody. They only claim to be regulated by the National Futures Market (NFA) in the US which is a false claim as they are not in any way in the list of NFA regulated brokers.

　　Alfla broker has a lot of negative complaints from traders. Virtually all those who deposited money with them couldn't withdraw after the deposit. They have a fake site that goes down at will. Similarly, they have been known to be manipulating the market and blowing traders account so as to be unable to withdraw.

　　B. UFX Market and UFX Bank

　　 UFX Market and UFX Bank has a lot of negative reviews and complaints made by clients. The broker is well known for posting false client reviews on different websites. Wikifx has blacklisted this broker because of its widespread bad reputation and scamming traders. The company is known to adopt common tactics to cheat its traders, the trading manager persuades users to deposit more and more money in their accounts with the requests for fund withdrawals never being processed – to name but a few irregularities.

　　More so, UFX brokers have no customers support. Traders have no way to reach out to their customer support and UFX suggests risky trades to traders which will result in potential losses. When a trader in turn tries to close their account, they are subsequently persuaded into a “last deal” which results in a huge loss and wipes out the traders funds entirely.

　　C. Lego Market LLC

　　This broker has been discovered by Wikifx to have no regulators. They have a very low ranking by Wikifx scoring 1.29/10.

　　Traders are sternly warned to stay away from this broker as a lot of negative complaints surround them. A lot of traders who deposited with them in the past have not been able to withdraw after trading.

　　D. Sunton Capital

　　This broker based on Wikifx findings has no regulators. Wikifx has classified them as a known scam broker with no physical office or branch. All who deposited with this broker were not able to withdraw afterwards. They have a very low ranking by Wikifx scoring only 1.15/10. All South African traders are therefore warned to stay away from this broker and avoid losing their money.

　　E. Tradorax

　　Tradorax has a lot of serious complaints and has received 4 guilty votes in the FPA Traders Court which has led to it being declared a scam. According to Wikifx findings this broker is not regulated. This broker had a track record of freezing traders accounts and blocking users from withdrawing their funds. More so, this broker makes deals without the permission of the user and has been known to be fraudulently charging credit cards. Very often this broker keeps persuading clients to deposit more money before they can be able to withdraw. Wikifx has sternly warned all traders to avoid using this broker.

　　F. Henry

　　This broker according to Wikifx findings has no single regulator. They have a lot of fraud cases and inability to withdraw after depositing money with them. According to the reports of those who deposited with them, it is always very easy to deposit but can never withdraw at the end. Often they go to the extent of freezing traders accounts. Wikifx has given them a very low ranking of 1.13/10. South African traders are advised to stay away from this broker.

　　G. Trade-24

　　Trade-24 has a popular track record of fraud. This broker has no regulator and is associated with regular freezing of traders accounts, almost impossible to withdraw funds, and stealing accounts coupled with further allegations of forgery. Trade-24 states on their website that it was operating under a license from IFSC but this was completely untrue and IFSC of Belize has put up a notice which confirms that they had not issued any license to them. All South African traders are warned to stay away from this particular broker to avoid losing their money.

　　H. Sandwind

　　This broker according to Wikifx findings has no regulator. The name of this broker according to traders reviews is synonymous with the scam. The broker has no physical location and office and simply targets new traders to scam them. Wikifx has placed them on the fraud list and scored them 1.55/10. All traders are advised to avoid using this broker.

　　I. Panamoney

　　This broker stages a High-Yield Investment Programs which promises traders high returns which seems too good to be true and never fulfilled in the end. The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) has issued a warning back in 2010 against the schemes, calling the operators ‘con artists’. Panamoney has also been known for deducting amounts from accounts and forfeiting all profits for false ‘early fund withdrawal’ requests which were never actually made by users. Often this broker blocks traders‘ accounts without any reason and they will take all of an investor’s money along with it. Panamoney has been blacklisted by Forex Peace Army and cautions against investing in HYIPs. All South African traders are advised to avoid this broker.

　　J. NetoTrade

　　NetoTrade is at the top of the list when it comes to receiving warnings from various regulatory bodies – globally! The National Securities Market Commission in Spain has issued a warning against the use of this company as it does not carry a license and the Swiss financial regulator FINMA has included it in its public Warning List. Wikifx has identified this as a scam broker without any regulator. Traders who deposited with them in the past have not been able to withdraw till today. All traders are advised to avoid dealing with this broker.

　　K. Onderson

　　This broker has been discovered by Wikifx to be a scam broker without any regulator. According to traders review, it is always very difficult to withdraw from this broker as it keeps saying “insufficient funds” each time one tries to withdraw after depositing. Wikifx has given them a very low ranking of 1.09/10 and placed them on the list of scam brokers. All South African traders are enjoined to stay away from this broker.

Abstract：The Nigerian Forex traders have got an added advantage to participate in the Forex market in the two dominant trading sessions such as the London and New York sessions. This is because the Nigerian time zone readily aligns with these two time zones. Nigerians can therefore trade the market comfortably from 6:00am in the morning (or even earlier for those willing to join the Asian session) till 10:00pm at night which is when the New York session ends and the market itself at this point closes for the day across the three different time zones. Often, we experience a one hour break before the market reopens again for the Asian session. The next resumption for trading for Nigerians who are willing to sacrifice their night sleep is from 11:00am which marks the beginning of the Asian session.

　　A. London Session

　　B. New York session

　　C. Tokyo and Sydney (Asian session)

　　The London Session begins at 7am Nigerian time which is 6:00am EST. The one hour difference is because Nigeria is one hour ahead of time EST time zone. The London session is often seen as the busiest time in the market as it comprises all the European Union countries and most African countries participating in the market at the same time. Thus it could be is said that the greatest number of traders are often present at this point. The Nigerian time equally overlaps with the New York session too.

　　The next session after the London time is the New York time comprising all the United States, Canada and North America. This session usually begins at 11:00am Nigerian time. During this session.

　　The greatest trading volumes and market movement is often witnessed within this interval when the London market and New York market overlap. Often occurring from 11:00am to about 6:00pm Nigerian time.

　　The final session is the Tokyo and Sydney session (ASIAN session) occurring from 11:00am to about 11:00 am Nigerian time. The Asian market is a very volatile moment often for GOLD and Silver as these continent are the greatest dealers on these commodities.

　　Finally, expert traders consider 10AM EST to be the best time for trading as this is the period when the London market and then New York market interact with the Asian traders just exiting the market at this point. Hence, we often experienced the greatest market movement during this time, offering a very good opportunity for quick profit making.

　　The issue was the top-trending item on Weibo as of Friday afternoon, with more than 170MM views and over 10K.

　　Some even claimed that Chinese customers were withdrawing their Sams' Club membership in droves.

　　In order to try and avoid facing a similar backlash, Intel has already apologized to Chinese customers after asking suppliers not to use any labor or products sourced from Xinjiang to ensure compliance with the new US law, which bars all products or services from Xinjiang from being sold in the US unless the seller can prove they weren't made with forced labor.

　　But Wal-Mart is really stuck here. It's already struggling to keep up with the competitive supermarket industry in China. Sam's Club has been a bright spot due to its sales of mostly imported goods (it's unclear how many products from Xinjiang were even sold by the retailer previously). Wal-Mart plans to have 100 stores in the country by 2028, up from just 33 currently.

　　Brent is the name given to a relatively light crude oil made from a blend of crudes from 19 oil fields in the North Sea. Brent Crude is one of the three main benchmarks for crude oil prices per barrel, along with West Texas Intermediate (WTI) from North America and Dubai Crude from the Persian Gulf. Brent is also the name of an oil field located in the North Sea off the coast of Scotland, which was discovered in 1971 and started production in 1976. Brent is an acronym for Broom, Rannoch, Etive, Ness and Tarbert – the five geological formations that form the Middle Jurassic field.

　　Brent Crude is a major trading classification of sweet light crude oil that serves as a benchmark price for purchases of oil worldwide.

　　Taking look at the technical picture of Brent crude oil on the 4-hour chart, it can be observed that currently the commodity is trading below a steep short-term downside resistance line taken from the high of November 10th. The price is also near the 80.83 hurdle, which is the current lowest point of November. The RSI and the MACD are currently pointing lower. In addition to that, the RSI sits below 50 and the MACD continues to run below zero and the trigger line. The two indicators show negative price momentum, which supports the above-discussed scenario.

　　In other way round, when the price breaks above the aforementioned downside line and then climbs above the 83.10 barrier, marked by the high of November 12th, that could attract a few more buyers into the game. Brent oil might then travel to the 83.82 obstacle, or even to the 84.68 territory, which is marked near an intraday swing high of November 9th and an intraday swing low of November 10th. If the buying fails to stop there, the next possible target could be the 85.58 level, marked by an intraday swing high of November 10th.
