Wore my decade-old prom shoes and they were literally disintegrating throughout the day - threw them out at the end lol

I’m a week late posting all of this DashCon 2 stuff (literally took me a week to recover from such a momentous event lol), but this was my entry for the cosplay competition

I sewed this Rapunzel cosplay like a decade ago in the height of the Rise of The Brave Tangled Dragons fandom. ❄️🏹☀️🐲 (It was so awesome to see that a group cosplayed as the four of them too - friendship goals 🥹)!

For the dress, I’m most proud of hand-painted details on the skirt! Plus my mom crocheted a Pascal for me. ^u^

To give it a special DashCon 2 twist - despite having no piercings, no tattoos, and barely any experience with makeup - I knew it had to be a Disney Princess Punk Edit! Turned out well for some haphazard q-tip eyeshadow application 😅

Anyways, it was so wonderful to chat with the other cosplayers about all the love and effort they put into their costumes ^u^ just a really wholesome time

DashCon 2 Crow Exchange haul!

I can’t even begin to convey how wholesome and wild this event was! So many people came prepped with friendship bracelets, wiggly worms, buttons, and little thingamabobs!

Going into it I had my own handmade ceramic pins and keychains, along with some misc buttons and sushi stickers, and did not expect for it to turn out THIS fruitful! Like holy crap!! OAO

The most beloved items I walked away with:

- A tiny plastic crow (that was an amazing way to start off the crow exchange!)

- An impressively-detailed Over the Garden Wall acrylic keychain (exchanged for a palm-sized figure of Kirby on a rainbow star - hope they were happy with it!)

- A FOIL SECRET LAIR HATSUNE MIKU MTG CARD (bless that one person who brought their MTG binder you were so generous may all your starting hands have lands!)

- Two beautiful pillow cases from THE MORNINGWITCH!!! (hoping to sew something wonderful out of their exquisite fabrics, but what could even be a good enough use for them?! T-T)

Overall it really was a unique experience full of communal joy and eccentricity! I hope others found many big and small joys in the things we traded ^_^
