Dawn loved being one half of the Tornado Twins, but she knew Don was right. They wasnât going to be able to help out, or do anything without drawing attention to themselves. And right now, that would not be a good idea for anyone. Neither for them, or other people who might be effected by their existence in this time. âThat hurts!â she replied but agreed with him. âgoing to be hard not helpingâ Dawn had always loved helping people, and always gone above and beyond for everyone if she could. âYou were a smart cookie thereâ she laughed softly; it had been Donâs idea about the name they should use.Â
âI mean, I am a genius,â Don teased. He was itching himself to get out there and fight alongside his sister, there were few things he loved doing more than that, apart from spending time with Meloni. Don wondered what she was doing right now if he missed her. He sighed, this was a total mess, the sooner they figured how to get home the better. âHey, why donât you pick something for us to do,â Don offered, âhelp get your mind off things.âÂ

âThanks!â Cassie beamed at the obvious friend and not foe who had jumped in to help her. âYouâre not so bad yourself, youâve got some quick moves.â she grinned. She couldnât exactly place the boy, he seemed familiar but she knew for a fact she didnât know him nor had they ever met before. Then again there were tons of new heros she didnât know of that flocked to Gotham to help keep the city under control since Batman had died, or disappeared. âIâm Wonder Girl, I guess you could say I learned from my predecessors and well, the Amazons.â
Donâs eyes widened slightly, Wondergirl? Don obviously heard of the name and knew that the mantle had been passed down to different people through the years. âWhatâs it like getting to work with Wonderman?â he asked curiously. There was nothing like real life first count experiences to put a time travellers history books to shame. âShit sorry, if that was too personal a question I totally get it.â

Wally tried to calm himself down from the fit, taking a deep breath. It was the first time he had let himself laugh since he had learned about Zatanna and Dick being together and part of him didnât want to stop inf ear or never doing it again. âYou werenât, huh?â He asked, cocking his head to the side. âYou know youâre a bad liar, right? If I give you directions do you promise to stop following me?âÂ
Don squinted his eyes in confusion. âIâm not lying, I wasnât following you,â he said trying to make himself for believable this time. Don knew he wasnât a great liar, in fact, his mother had always said she loved at about him. He was an honest type. That really didnât seem to be in his favour right now. âI know it looks like I was, but honestly, Iâm just lost.â Don pulled out his phone, swiping the device open and pulling up the location to the apartment. He showed the screen to the redhead. âHere, this is the address.âÂ

They had both learned about it at school, and due to their father being someone who worked with Batman from time to time ââ they both had read about it more than normal.âI know..â Dawn agreed; knowing the feeling Don felt right now. âMom always said it was a difficult time for Gotham, but I never imagined thisâ She wanted to help, she did; but she also knew that running around being the Tornado Twins would only make people notice them; they did not need that now. â ââ Itâs so weird being here, knowing so many people we know; at least in the future is hereâ she also finished her coffee before she added âWe better try laying low, as much as we canâÂ
Don nodded in agreement. Ever since theyâd arrived, he couldnât help but think about the mutual ways they could change the timeline irreversibly. Usually, Don was the more impulsive of the two, he tended to think first and act later. But not even he could ignore the consequences of opening pandoraâs box, which is what they would be doing even if they told everyone who they were. It would be a disaster. Both of the twins had learnt the hard way from their fatherâs mistakes, that nothing good ever came from changing the past. âWeâll continue using Thompson and keep as much of a distance from the Titans as possible. More importantly, no Tornado twins,â which hurt him to say, no one wanted to kick some ass more than Don did right now.

Zatanna was walking around exhausted. Sheâd been up all night, helping Raven try to quell her sleep. In return the woman had gotten none of her own and was just going through the motions. Suddenly she was being crashed upon and found herself sitting on the side walk. The sudden of pain sent adrenaline through her at least, waking her up more. She he winced, getting to her feet and over looking herself. âIâm alright. Just some scrapped hands.â she answered. âwhat about you?â
âOh Iâm fine, I canât say the same thing about my phone,â he said, staring down at the cracked screen. He should have been more careful, he doesnât know where he was going to get the money to pay for a new screen. He looked up at the girl, âare you sure? Do you want me to take you to the clinic down the road, take a look at scrap?â he offered. Don wouldnât be able to just walk away if heâd hurt the girl, even if it was accidentally. âI can pay, if itâs an issue.â

Dawn always prided herself of being a girl who could take care of herself, but a girl who had never met her father; would always long for him. Especially since their mother had always spoken so highly of him. Dawn and Don had grown up the the stories, and the Flash museum; but not the real Barry Allen. so she nodded. âI know all thatâ she sight but quickly nodded and shook the feeling off. Taking a deep breath to push the needs away, she squeezed Donâs hand back and smiled at him. ââ she honestly didnât know what she would do without him in this world. âWe should try and figure out how to get back to mom, so we can bother her some moreâ she felt happy about the idea of joining their family together again. And maybe she would get to see Jeven again. Right before they disappeared, he had kissed her; and the feeling still lingered with her.Â
Don knew that Dawn was putting on a brave face, the older twin always tried to take care of them both, ever since they were kids. But Don knew she was disappointed because he was too, honestly, he wanted nothing more than to finally get to meet their father, but preserving the timeline had to come first. Because if anything happened, the two of them might not exist, and he wasnât willing to take that chance. Don laughed, âsheâs probably having a ball, getting a break from us,â he joked, finishing up his coffee. Don turned his attention to the window, watching the chaotic city outside. âYou know Iâd read about Batmanâs disappearance, but I had no clue it was this bad,â he said shaking his head. Don had never realised how important Batman was too Gotham City. It was crazy how one personâs disappearance could bring the city to its knees.

Dawn smiled at the comment, because they both would drive their mother crazy; âYeah, youâre rightâ she knew that Don was wondering about their father too; just like she did. ââ they had spoken about it, they had. âI just hate the feeling of mom being aloneâ she placed her own coffee down and added âI agree, this is not like the coffee we get back homeâ she had also ordered a small muffin, that looked really boring; next to the decorated one she would get from back home. âSoâŚâ she started looking down on the table for a moment before she added âdid you look up mom and dad? Were they together in 2020?âÂ
Don bit his lip. He was concerned, he knew how much his sister wanted to meet their parents in this time period. âYes,â he said hesitantly. âBut Dawn you know we canât meet them right?â He asked gently. âWe have to stay away from anyone who could potentially figure out who we are because if we mess up the timeline, we risk not existing.â Don hated to be the bearer of bad news, especially when his desire to meet their father was just as strong. He grabbed her hand, squeezing it tight. âIâm sure mom will be fine, sheâs stronger than both of us.â

âItâs so weird..â âââ Dawn said as she though about their situation. They had been playing a childish game, and for some reason it had gone wrong. Now when she tried traveling home, it seemed to be a wall; something blocking her, and Don from going back home to their time. Anyone who met her, knew how much Dawn had always looked up to their father. The twins had never met him, due to events happening in their time. So honestly, there was nothing else she wanted, more than meeting Barry. However, she knew it would be risky; and they needed to get back to their mother. She felt bad for leaving, and not being able to get back. She missed their mother. âIâve tried everything..â maybe they just wasnât fast enough?Â
Don gave his sister a reassuring look. He could tell she was worried; twins intuitions. âDonât worry, weâll find a way back,â he promised - they had too, they could hardly just stay in this century forever. Besides the longer they stayed in this time, the more tempted they would both be too meet their father. Don admitted heâd spent more than a few hours wondering what that would be like. To finally be able to have a conversation with him, to ask for advice. As much as Don loved his mother, and he loved her a lot. There where just some things a boy needed to discuss with their father. âAfterall, whoâs going to drive mom crazy is we donât?â

Being embarrassed was something that didnât happen often to the prince, took a lot to make him blush, as he was not a shy person, which was why when the other told him that he didnât work in there, he felt bad, but not embarrassed about it, âOh, sorry,â he apologized, âYour clothes are similar to their uniform, but thank you for the help,â he smiled at the boy, as he picked up the chips, âI eat so much these, I donât know how Iâm not gaining weight,â he knew actually, it was because he was a Daxamite, it was one of their powers.
âDonât worry about it, I know better than to wear red to CVS,â he joked. Don totally understood where the other was coming from, eating healthy, especially when he didnât have Meloni telling him off was difficult. He wondered what the woman was doing right now and desperately wanted to speak to her. âOh same, thank god for fast metabolisms right?â Burning off calories at a rapid rate was just one of the many perfects him and his sister had inherited from their father.Â

Minding his own business, the speedster made his way towards the tower. It was getting late and it was about time that Donna was making dinner. Yummy food, he thought to himself before his stomach grumbled as if on cue. Hunger was a feeling he was all too accustomed to. It came with the quick metabolism. The sound of footsteps behind him caused Wally to whirl around in a second, facing the man who was following him. âIf youâre gonna follow me that closely you might as well pull my hair, dude.â He said, trying his best to keep a serious face. It only lasted a few seconds before he burst out into a fit of laughter. âYou should see your face.âÂ
âChrist,â he muttered, not expecting the redhead to turn around so abruptly. Don thought it was good he never wanted to be a private-eye, he clearly was shit at it. âI wasnât following you,â he lied, his breaking into one of confusion when the man began to laugh. Huh, most people didnât care to be followed, but Wally seemed to take it as a joke, maybe the redheadâs carefree attitude was in his favour. âI was actually trying to get your attention to ask for direction...Iâm new to the city, and I canât figure out how to get back to my apartment.â

â @ofdawnallenâ
Don scrunched his face in disgust, placing the Starbucks coffee cup down on the wooden surface. âJesus, Iâm never going to get used to the drivel they serve in this century,â he muttered, turning to face his sister. The pair had been stuck in 2020 for a couple weeks and had quickly found that the city had seen better days. Obviously, Don had heard about this period in time during school - but learning about something and seeing it first hand were two very different things. âWe have to figure out a way to get back,â he said, picking up a paper coaster with the coffee shops infamous mermaid logo on it. He leaned back in his chair, forcing the legs backwards. Don knew the longer they said in this century, the more likely it would be that theyâd run into someone they knew or had heard of. It wasnât like he wasnât curious, but they both knew what was at risk if they screwed up the timeline.

â @ofdaxamprinceâ
Don looked up slightly startled at the stranger speaking to him. Oh, he thought to himself, this guy obviously has mistaken me for someone who worked here. Don doesnât know if he should be flattered or downright offended. Biting his lip, he sighed, âlook, Iâm not an employee, but the chips are right over there,â he said pointing to the junk food aisle. It was his own fault, he shouldn't have worn red of all things in a CVS - heâd only been in this century for a few weeks, and he already knew that.

Don couldnât help himself, heâd soon the blonde kicking ass and he felt compelled to help her. He tried his hardest not to rely on his superspeed, knowing it would open himself up to an onslaught of questions and instead stuck to martial arts. Don wouldnât say he was an expert, but he got by enough to be able to defend himself. When the fight was over, and the goons sufficiently taken down, he walked over to the girl. âNice moves,â he complimented, stretching his neck to get rid of the stiffness. âWhereâd you learn to fight like that?â he asked, wondering if she was one of the Titans heâd heard about running around the city. Despite, having read about them both in the future, and in the present from various blogs Don had yet to run into any.

â @wheresthewallaceâ
Don was on his way back to the apartment with a takeaway, ready to brainstorm with Dawn on how to get the hell out of this century with a strikingly familiar face caught Donâs attention. The man was heading in the opposite direction. Don knew he shouldnât, but he found himself taking a detour, walking further away from his original destinations in an attempt to follow the redhead. Don was aware he was being a hypocrite right now, heâd have torn into Dawn for making such a mistake, not that he believed his sister would. She had a lot more self-control. However, the longer he stared at the back of the other manâs head, the more familiar the face was to him until he realised. It was Wally West, his fatherâs nephew. Obviously, in the future, theyâd meet him, albeit he looked older. Don was torn between approaching him and making a quick getaway before the other realised heâd been followed.Â

â @magicalessenceâ
Don grunted, tapping furiously at the screen of his phone. He did not understand why technology in this century needed to be so overly complex - in his time, things glided so effortlessly he didnât even need to think, it was almost as if the technology was one step ahead of you. Not watching where he was going, Don found himself slamming into the person in front, the phone falling with a thud to the floor. âJesus,â he muttered to himself before bending down to pick up the device. âSorry,â he told the victim of his carelessness, âare you okay?â Â

Is that Logan Lerman? No, thatâs Donavan âDonâ Allen, AKA Tornado Twin from DC Universe! He appears to be 20. He has the abilities of Super-Speed, phasing, electrokinesis, dimensional travel and time manipulation which make them a powerful ally for the Fellowship.
Basic information:Â Â
Name: Donovan âDonâ Allen Thompson.
Age: 20-years-old.
Martial status:Â In an on-and-off-again relationship with Meloni Thawne (love interest).Â

Don has an on and off-again relationship with Meloni Thawne, who is a descendant of a long line of Thawnes, including Professor Zoom.Â
Inspired to play a game of time travel, like when they were kids: Don ended up going back further than expected -Â Â forcing Dawn, who sensed something was wrong with her brother to follow. Through a series of events, which the twins cannot explain, they ended up in 2020, Gotham city during the disappearance of Batman.Â
As a subsequent, Don along with his sister, have taken the name Thompson, the maiden name of their fatherâs mother, as the pair feared sticking with the name Allen would draw too many questions.Â
The twins have agreed that they have to attempt to disclose as little as possible about the future, to make sure the timeline isnât changed irreversibly.Â

Speed Force Conduit: Speed force conduits possess a connection to the Speed Force, a cosmic force that allows its users to push the boundaries that keep time and space. As a conduit of the Speed Force, all aspects of their physiology are accelerated and enhanced.
Accelerated Healing: By having a connection to the speed force, every speed force conduit has an incredibly fast healing factor and can heal from most injuries in seconds and devastating injuries in minutes.
Enhanced Senses: The Speed Force enhances the speedster's senses, allowing them to perceive and process thoughts faster than the normal person.
Phasing: Speed Force conduits can tap into the Speed Force to vibrate their molecules in a way to achieve intangibility for short bursts, allowing them to phase through objects.
Speed Force Aura: The Speed Force manifests an aura around the speedster and whatever they are carrying, protecting them from adverse effects of their speed, such as friction with the air.
Superhuman Stamina: The Speed Force grants its conduits with a great increase of stamina, allowing them to fight or run much longer than the average person. Although a great increase, it is not unlimited.
Superhuman Speed: The universal factor of being a Speed Force conduit grants its user with imperceptible amounts of speed. All powers that conduits possess derives from their speed. This also confers:
Vortex Creations: Speed Force conduits are able to create vortices of air by running in circles or rotating their extremities at super-speed. These vortices can be used for a number of effects.
