You know what i love about Donovan and Darius’s relationship is that it wasn’t always smooth i love how complicated it was Donovan being traded to Cleveland and suddenly Darius has to share the spotlight expecting Donovan to be this cocky asshole so he put up his walls and tries to coexist with him and then after a while Donovan breaks down these walls cuz he’s so patient with Darius and keeps defending him in front of the media and refusing to let anyone badmouth him especially during injuries and just being there for him generally and then u see how Darius gets so comfortable with him when he was obviously keeping his distance at the beginning i love how they both worked on it especially with the noises from the media and their own opinions about each other like it wasn’t always a smooth process
