More Parental Whumper Prompts
Whumper, having just finished beating Whumpee so badly they can barely move, pulling them into a hug and gently stroking their hair, knowing Whumpee is too exhausted and scared and in too much pain to fight it.
Whumpee, in pain or with a high fever or under the influence of painkillers or sedatives, instinctively grabbing for Whumper's hand as they're about the leave, the word mom/dad slipping out of their mouth before they can stop themselves.
Whumpee pleading for Whumper's help as they're tortured by an even worse whumper.
Whumper arranging for Whumpee to fall into the hands of someone worse so they'll realize just how much better Whumper is by comparison.
Whumper gently brushing and braiding Whumpee's hair, their fingers occasionally touching the bruises they left on Whumpee's neck.

You know what? A whumpee who never cries. Maybe they came from an unstable or stressful background. No matter how much whumper screams at them, humiliates them, tortures them, they're just taking it all not necessarily stoicly, but they sure aren't reacting as strongly as most would.
And then they're rescued. Caretaker sees the stress and pain written all over their face. Wordlessly pulls whumpee into their arms.
And whumpee just breaks down.

Ugh, I have this WIP with a parent-carewhumper (adult) child-whumpee (occasionally also whumper) and it's GOLD! The dynamic, the emotional compartmentalizing they do (esp the mother-carewhumper)!
I love complicated-dynamics-or-relstiomships whump.

Parental whumper who has underlings. People who hold Whumpee down, tie them up, even punish them for Whumper. People who coldly help a parent torture their own child, because it's their job. Maybe at least some of them know it isn't right and feel guilty about what they're doing, but not enough to stop it.

"I know chatgpt is bad but you just don't really have any choice" you literally do. Don't use it. Have some moral backbone.

Love this esp if whumper is the one saying it and they are referring to some punishment tool they'll use in a little.
“Hey, don’t look at it. Don’t look over there, it’s okay. It’s okay, just keep looking at me. I’m right here, just focus on me…keep your breathing even.”

A few hours of noise cancelling headphones and now noise hurts 😩 (whump thoughts)
So I had my headphones on noise cancelling mode with very light music as soft as it will go playing for hours at home alone working on a project yesterday and when I took it off (right when my housemates got home) their noises— even when they were being fairly quiet— hurt. Like my head was pounding the entire rest of the day. I couldn’t focus on anything or even put a single coherent thought together.
So anyway, put your whumpee in sensory deprivation and then thrust them into all the colors and the sounds and the lights and watch them squirm. Because when they’re used to nothing and then everything will be too much.
And give them tasks to completed while they feel like their brains are imploding. It will be near impossible for them to do and by the end they will be nervous and twitching and absolutely drained.

love the ambiguity between resignation and loyalty w conditioned whumpees. scenario ive been fixated on is one where whumper gets hurt/incapacitated while whumpee is in chains. whumpee takes the opportunity to steal the key and unlock themselves. but all they do with that freedom is help whumper get situated and try to remedy the situation as best as they’re able. once that’s handled, they’ll put the chains back on themselves and return the key without being told to.

the CHEESY trope I'm guilty of enjoying is "I thought-" "You don't think- you obey." is it overdone? perhaps. but you can pry it from my cold dead hands.

One of my favourite whump things has to be somebody (not caretaker) finding out what whumpee has been through or seeing their scars/wounds and being shocked, speechless or, if it's really bad, maybe even cry a little.

Whumper dragging a screaming, crying, begging Whumpee and mercilessly throwing them at the feet of Someone Worse™
That'll teach Whumpee exactly how good they have it with Whumper, they'll be so nice and docile for them once they are back *home*
