@taylorswift @taylornation 64 days!!
Hi @taylorswift @taylornationā¦ok so I apologize in advance for the length of this post, but ready for the most pitiful story ever? 8 years ago on June 5, 2010 it was my 17th birthday - it was also the day I had pit tickets to see @taylorswift headline her first stadium show EVER at @gillettestadium on the Fearless Tour. Pretty cool right? Well I ended up front row in the pit! I could touch the stage!! (you can see my pit wristband in one of the pictures with this post). WHAT I couldnāt believe it and was completely stoked all night through the 4 openers. I was in disbelief that in a matter of hours someone I idolized and was growing up with would be feet away from me.
All of a sudden, right as American Woman started playing before Taylor went on, I felt dizzy and incredibly sick. So sick, I couldnāt stand up any more and had to get out of the pit. I gave up my spot and sat down on the floor trying to catch my breath as the lights went out. Then before I knew it I was rushing up the stadiumās stairs to the bathroom right as the lights went out and Taylor was about to come on. By the time I reached the top of the staircase I was an emotional wreck and a security guard approached me and told me I didnāt look so good. He took me to the medical room and I went in expecting maybe a glass of water, some ice etcā¦ and to be fine. Well long story short, I had my vitals checked and I wasnāt fine. I ended up having to stay there throughout Taylorās whole set; I had to watch on a small TV in the back of the roomā¦but that almost made it suck more. They joked that āmaybe sheāll stop byā when she went into the crowd for Hey Stephen š I ended up needing two IVs before I could leave and they were even discussing rushing me to a hospital in Foxboro if I didnāt perk up before the show ended. Thankfully they let me back out to the show and I reached the back of the floor just as Taylor finished āShouldāve Said Noāā¦the last song of the night. Like Iām talking I walked into the field as the water fell on her at the end of the song. Iāve never felt so disappointed/angry/grateful (that I was ok and just dehydrated) in my life. As everyone left I walked back over to my original spot on the barricade and just sat down and put my hands over my face and wept. I looked absolutely pathetic but I couldnāt believe it.
So thereās my story of how I missed the Fearless Tour and possibly my only chance to ever get that close to Taylor. Iāve been blessed to have seen each of @taylorswiftās other tours at Gillette but every time I enter that stadium I can almost feel a wave of the disappointment I felt that night in 2010 rush over me. Iāve never been able to get back in that pit, but Iām holding on to hope that someday I just might and Iāll get to finally live out that dream that 17 year old me had. Some day I hope I get a chance to tell Taylor about this āadventureā and laugh [shake?] it off because it all seriously seems like a fictional story out of a sitcom or something when I look back on it.
Despite this memory not being one of my favorites, I did learn from it and as you say āhold on to the memories they will hold on to youā - this year Iāll be 25 when the reputation Stadium Tour stops by Gillette, and I feel so blessed to have been able to grow up with you @taylorswift.
Soā¦hereās a picture of the shirt I had made and wore to the concertā¦and a lovely photo of me in the medical center (check out Taylor on the TV in the back). Hereās hoping the rep era will be nicer to me šš¤Unfortunately I donāt have a ticket for the rep tour yet, BUT I plan to go to the Saturday rep show at Gillette. When tickets went on sale in December Christmas had run my wallet dry and I just havenāt had the money to make it happen yetā¦but I promise, @taylorswift I will be at that show even if Iām by myself and I promise not to have any medical issues this time š You are so incredibly important to me and I will not miss the chance to be anywhere in that room with you.
Thank you for reading my sob story, I hope it was somewhat amusing? š

HEY HI READ THIS PLEASE
I have a backlog of posts to get to and will do them this afternoon!Ā
PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME MORE THAN ONE ASK! I PROMISE I SEE THEM!Ā
I donāt know if anyone reads the rules post but Iāmma need you to read the rules post, like it and reblog it. Iām getting a lot of double and triple asks lately and itās literally the second rule on the post. If you spam me, or the inbox, I will delete it, end of.
And guys Iāve said it a million times: I am literally not on this site every day. I have school, and work, and I am taking care of a sick family member. This is not my day job. I do my best to get to everything in a timely fashion, I try and also vet every ask and account that comes through my inbox. It takes time and sometimes itās time I donāt have. Please, please be understanding of that.
Also: as of right now I have more asks to BUY tickets than I have people who are selling. Thatās just the way it is. I canāt make people sell their tickets!!
I am proud of this blog, I am happy I have been able to help fans buy and sell their tickets, but as I said: this isnāt my day job. I do this to be kind and helpful. But please lmao, please just take a minute to read through the blog, check to see if someone has posted tickets that you may want to buy BEFORE sending me an ask. And only send one (1) detailed ask. I will get to you. You havenāt been forgotten. I promise.
Thanks for being understanding, and thanks for supporting stylesticketexchange.
