Selection: “Mn.”
Job: Rasetsu (Monk)
Weapons: Fists
AI Behavior: An extremely aggressive DPS who will often run ahead and engage the enemy without waiting for the tank to initiate. Always prioritizes single-target damage over AoE, but will occasionally deal collateral AoE damage within her rotation. Targets the highest HP/physically largest enemy in a group regardless of the tank’s focus, but occasionally will switch to another enemy if it has broken free to attack the healer or other DPS. Will readily use LB against bosses, but sometimes waits for LB2 if the bar is near full. Despite being fastidious about avoiding AoE, her tendency to pull aggro and rush things is sure to keep her healer busy. Expect an “exciting” run.
Battle Lines: “They’re here.” - Starting Attack 1

Bonus:  Burst damage dealing capability is extremely high (along with proportionately high aggro gain), more closely resembling that of a Samurai than a Monk. She comes packaged with unique defensive cooldowns and a single-target stun/paralysis ability that allow her to continuously avoid damage within a reasonable margin of error. Still, she is far from a tank, and will need careful watch to keep her alive. Due to her movement speed, she may be a headache to keep up with. Deals surprisingly well on her own with individual foes but may be quickly overwhelmed by a swarm of mobs. Many of her abilities knock the enemy back or into the air, which can ruin AoE grouping or in the most annoying case, disrupt line of sight on skills due to differing elevation. Has no supportive abilities whatsoever and cannot heal the player.
Note 1: If you don’t have any food items in your inventory at the start of the dungeon, Virara’s efficacy is cut in half in all areas. If you do, 2-4 of your food items are mysteriously consumed at random. Note 2: If you use Rescue on Virara, there is a small chance she may collide with you for 25% of your current HP and knock you back, stunning you for 5 seconds.
