i find it interesting that in the hawks comic it's implied that. tohri assumed he was at least kind of friends with isa. he spends a significant amount of time with ryuuji and isa and he assumes he's invited to go stargazing and assumes he's 'part of the trio,' and while those last two things could be just him thinking he's super cool and the center of attention, i think it's kinda reasonable that he would just. want to be friendly with his coworkers. he goes out of his way to confront isa because he doesn't attend ryuuji's funeral, and i think that's more out of the feeling of betrayal on tohri's end than just the simple hatred of isa, because they all formed a relationship together. im willing to bet tohri just assumed they had a sailor-moon-and-mars-type relationship where they fought a lot but ultimately were friends. im not sure if all this is necessarily true, but i think it would give a lot of context to his hatred of isa in the future because like. hey! fuck you! we were friends but now i have no friends and im a loser and stuff and im taking out my anger on the fact that you no longer care about me! w-wait you actually don't even remember who i am and i didn't mean anything to you at all? we weren't ever friends? wh- FUCK Y
