Sara is having rennovations done on her apartment. When her money gets stolen, Neal offers to let her stay with him until the mess is sorted out. Neal, Sara and Mozzie run a con on the bank robber in hopes of drawing out the perpetrator, and Neal is reminded of how much he likes the thrill of a good con.

The CGI would be too much because of all the locations we visit in book one. Animation would be easier on everyone’s wallets

Some locations they visit that are NOT human location:

Eternalia (elf capitol) (both on the side of the river bank and I think they move a little closer)

The Summit

Everglen

Atlantis (WHICH IS UNDERWATER)

Havenfield (THEYD HAVE TO CGI THE ENTIRE ANIMAL SANCTUARY)

Mysterium(although this can be passed by some boring location in England)

Foxfire (obviously)

Technically still Eternalia but the Councilor’s Towers are separated from most of the city by the rivier (I think)

The four seasons tree (could be easily faked with a prop)

I think it’s mentioned they go to Dex’s house (Sophie practicing alchemy in his room before they switch to the caves)

Unless they pull some epic tricks like with Star Wars (the diorama for the racing track on Taatooine or the painted backgrounds) it’s gonna be really rough to make this live action

I don’t care if this is an unpopular opinion but if the kotlc movie is live action I’m going to glitch. Shannon has way too many rules for what the elves should look like and how they live to be accurate. For example the all blue eyes rule. It’s a big part of Sophie’s experience of feeling like an outcast even when she finds out she’s an elf. But we all know realistically anyone who’s casted for the elves won’t have blue eyes. (Unless they CGI it but let’s be fr).

I would prefer if the movie was animated. I think animation could do the series a lot of credit and add in all the cool designs that the elves life would work for. (Not to mention Shannon’s budget. Movie making is expensive especially with a lot of CGI in it)
