My Roman Empire is Fitz being geeked up for Sophie. I may not like him but he was definitely cute. He would wear a specific cologne just because Sophie likes it. He even attempted baking for Sophie (even if they were…bad. It’s the thought that counts.) He even asked Keefe to make something for Sophie and PAID him because she knew how much she loved his art. Him wanting to show her off was cute too (when he wasn’t peer pressuring her into match making) I also love the fact he would surprise her with little gifts every time he saw her.

Team V clearly has potential for success! Yes Stina is a total pill but she’s also a teenage girl who is on a team where no one fucking likes her and they made it clear within the 2.5 seconds she was there and once again, Stina can be a jerk and stuff (Wylie was being like kinda goofy by openly saying to Sophie in front of EVERYONE “hey, we’ll talk about this super secret thing that no one else is supposed to know about later. Wink wink nudge nudge it’s probably about my D-A-D” but the Biana comment was like crazy)

But then when they meet under Calla’s tree to like have their first team meeting without the council’s presence Stina is civil, they’re assigning project that help with their current problems, they’re talking and it goes relatively well!! When Sophie resets her powers Team V is there and Biana and Stina both work together with Edaline to make the big nest thing. Post Keefe Legacy when Sophie is at Elwin’s house Biana, Stina, and Dex come in to report about what happened on their side of the fight and they’re shockingly getting along like 12+ years of rivalry, pranks, shit talking, and potentially actually fighting each other in the hallways of Foxfire, was all just swept away with one fight against the Neverseen (that ended in a victory even if the retreat was planned)

And then Shannon went and pissed all over it during Stellarlune which like……..okay Shannon cool. To be fair though, reading Sophie going “now I know Stina and I could never be friends” was the funniest fucking thing I ever had to bear witness to with my own eyes. Like my guy, literally your whole gang was pissed at you but Stina’s the guy you’re gonna die on this hill about?

Not Marella, your first-ish friend who literally asked you to your face ‘damn wouldn’t to be crazy if we one day were enemies’ and then looked at you like ‘do you think we’re enemies’??

And she learned um that uh uh oh Rayni and Trix sometimes ate snacks together in the Neverseen! Those rapscallions. And Wylie-…………………was Wylie!

I mean to be fair to Shannon, the love triangle stuff whispers in her ear like a Green Goblin mask whispering “not plot relevant stuff, focus on how much the triangle matters” I just wish that maybe before Shannon decided to shove Sandor in the danger zone he could’ve been teaching Team V fighting techniques. Stina literally has a book on battle strategy, let’s have the Team discuss that while they fight and maybe pair up Sophie and Wylie so they can have a chat and maybe pair up Stina with Biana or literally anyone because god knows if Team V had a therapy session 90% of that would just circle back to three things: the Neverseen, the Council, and Stina.

But dang bruv. Chill the f out. Not everything can nor should be dealt with punishment. It's like punishment is the *only* thing existing in your brain. Makes me question if you're really the pragmatist I believe you to be, because what the heck.

And no this is not a Bronte hate post. I love the guy. He's one of my favourite characters. But sometimes he is really, REALLY difficult to like.
