my dynamic for eater of worlds and brain of cthulhu is that they pretend to absolutely hate each other and want to rip out the other's throat but in actuality they're like best friends
they don’t even do it for show. they just insult each other for the sake of it but neither of them take the insults seriously so they end up just getting along
