To be fair when you look at c!Tubbo you don't really see a block man you actually see wide eyes with an intelligent spark behind them but sometimes with the shadow of a thousand horrors glossed over them. Or maybe that's just the brainrot anyway look at him again

Tbh the start of the downfall of the dream SMP as a whole was the retirement of b3u...

cookie outpost is also awesome as a ctubbo story arc because it’s. like. one of the rare ctubbo storylines where it’s About Him, not just an arc where he gets dragged along for the ride. he is the motivator here. he is the one picking fights and standing his ground and making the active decision to escalate conflict which is just SO AWESOME from ctubbo because he does Not do that. not usually. but this time, his supporting cast, quackity and ranboo, are there to illustrate him as a character. yes q and ranboo have their own takeaways from this arc but it’s tubbo who is at the heart of it. for once, tubbo is the one pushing.

and then he just stops. he joins quackity, he stops the threats, he packs it all up neatly and goes back to being responsible and well-behaved little tubbo again. it’s like measured indulgence! can you hear me it’s like he’s LETTING HIMSELF be aggressive in careful safe doses, like he knows quackity and ranboo won’t hurt him for it. and then he stops it and cleans it up and waits for the next time things blow up. it’s nuts. i feel deranged

I feel like no one's mentioned this yet but Joel seems to be really good at turning himself into not the but of the joke

Like at the start of the neck kisses bit, everyone was just making fun of Joel's slip up and him insisting "I don't kiss people's necks"

But by the end of the stream everyone was groaning when he made the joke and now he's signing books with "neck kisses"

Now with the Etho's obsessed bit, somehow all the hermits are actually making fun of Etho over Joel for being obsessed, even though Joel started this two years ago by wearing Etho's face on his chest

Cool update to Bloo's terrible horrible no good very bad week: After I got a shot in my ass at the doctor, my phone bluescreened completely.

Every writing WIP of mine since 2019 is now lost entirely. Anything I didn't post on ao3 is literally gone. There's still a slim chance I could recover it but it's doubtful.
