Yes, Pacifica is trapped in the fearamid with ford and Mabel. She was brought in with a group of rebels. Shooting Star didn’t remember her, but wanted to keep her alive. Bill let her.

Pacifica remembers Mabel. She’s one of the few people that does. Her memories of who Mabel used to be are very important to her.

So on required Mabel au, what is going on with mason/dipper and the general world as the apocalypse well apocalypses

Weirdmaggedon is still bubbled, bill is still trying to take it global.

During act one, after dipper and mabel make a deal with bill but before dipper gets memory gunned, dipper is with grunkle stan at the mystery shack trying to follow through his side of the deal and struggling immensely.

During act 2, dipper is outside the bubble living with an old biker gang friend of stan’s.

Wait, in Rewired, Dipper has the Society Of The Blind Eye logo. So I’m assuming he got his memory wiped. Or something to that effect.

Yes, dipper got shot with the memory gun by pacifica. (Or i guess “Princess” would be more accurate).

Weirdmaggedon isnt global yet. “Shooting Star” was a gradual thing that happened over time, but was basically cemented after mabel made a third deal with bill.

The other henchmaniacs are mostly indifferent to her, though enjoy her chaotic antics sometimes. Kryptos is scared of her because she ate him one time. Pyronica is her primary caretaker and originally was kinda annoyed by her but ended up being very caring/possessive.

Ford is conscious! The whole “lobotomy” thing is more meant to be a joke. He’s actually very similar to his canon self, except that he’s riddled with guilt and shame and despair and when he smiles the light never really seems to reach his eyes. He spends a lot of his time appearing catatonic, staring through windows or at walls, seemingly deep in thought but who’s to say?

Ford believes “mabel” has been fully destroyed. Ford blames himself for that. All that’s left of her, “shooting star”, isn’t who she was. Although occasionally shooting star will do something so similar to mabel that it’ll give him a glimmer of hope that there would be someway to get mabel back, that hope is pretty much immediately quashed by the reality of the situation. Ford doesn’t hold the things shooting star does against her because ultimately he thinks he’s the one to blame for the way she is.

Sometimes Ford is afraid of her.

I think it would depend. At what point in the story they meet and whether they remember recognise each other.
