I’ve seen a lot of megastar prewar relationship where Starscream is royalty/trying to slum it up, but not much of when he’s a scientist. Do you think Megatron meeting him when he was still a scientist would change anything or have the dynamic altered?

I don't think it would change the dynamic much because no matter how qualified Starscream is in any continuity, Megatron always retains his amazing ability to completely ignore everything he says, no matter how right he might be

OMG what if the starscream without a Megatron stumbles upon the cold and cruel Megatron in bad turns?

I'm too soft to cope with a bad ending so the vulnerable, lonely Starscream would eventually grow on cold, cruel Megatron and make him less ... that way. They'd become more like themselves after extended exposure to each other
