please reblog this. a lot of minors in pedophillic relationships don’t perceive their abusers as bad until it’s too late.

Ok so I’ve been thinking a lot about these tweets…
I think I’m faster to forgive than the average person, at least from what I’ve seen, but at the same time I don’t want to be some enabler that sweeps bad choices under the rug like they don’t matter.
Yes, he should’ve never auditioned and taken the job, and continued in that job feeling so guilty about working under a man he believed in his heart molested children. I am upset about that…
At the same time if you were in his place, and the guilt slowly built up until you realized you couldn’t take the money, you couldn’t keep quiet, you had to let the world know what you did– you would have to agree that he did the best he could do after the fact, not being able to go back in time and make it right. He donated his salary, he didn’t have to be so public about how much he believed Woody was guilty, or how much he regrets it. He could’ve been vague about it, feigned ignorance about Woody’s personal life, something to save face a little. But he’s showing true remorse by admitting his cowardice and not making excuses. He’s opened himself up for criticism and he’s not arguing against it, he’s just letting the hate come because he’s upset with his own choice, but all he can do now is apologize and make it a point to recommit himself and stick to his word. The fact that he tweeted that he never wants to compromise his principals like that again means he’s letting us hold him accountable from here on too. We can all point back at it and throw his own words at him if need be.
And when it’s all said and done, I’m kind of a coward too, I can’t imagine being in a contract with a major movie, only having a little role in one scene, and snubbing a major hollywood player as a newbie. I can see myself trying to think up loopholes why it was ok to continue. “It’s a small part, it’s not like I’m supporting the actors around me”, “I really need this movie”, “Most people in this business are horrible secretly” and any number of excuses would be on my mind. I’m glad he didn’t make those excuses in his tweets at all. He just faced the fact that if he believed it was true about Woody, he shouldn’t have chosen to work in his film.

"Straight couples shouldn't be at pride"
Well uh…
1.) one or both of people you see as a “straight couple” could be pan/bi/poly/ace
2.) one or both of them could be trans or non binary
3.) you could be misgendering someone

Self-Loving Spell
If you’re feeling bad or insecure about yourself, or you think your own character is stopping you from achieving your goals, you’ll need:
A pen
Two pieces of paper
A candle (black possibly or simply white)
Something for lighting it
Write down on the first piece of paper your defects or features you think are bad. More detailed it will be, more it will take effect. Then fucking destroy it, make it in pieces, and then burn those fucking pieces with the black candle. Your “defects” are a part of your humanity. They’re perfect.
Restart the entire list, writing down your qualities and everything your “defects” helped you do in the past. Write your strengths and your merits and try to see the beautiful things that are in yourself.
Now read it out loud. Then put it in a place where you’ll often see it, or in your Book Of Shadows, or you can also bury it.
You are a fantastic and special human being and you deserve happiness and love from others but also from yourself.
- Cas

This is my first time ever making a pendulum board from scratch. It was really nervewracking finishing it off with gold, but I’m really proud of the result. Figuring out what symbols to use, and what style had taken a majority of my time on this. My intentions are to get clear pendulum divinations with this board.

Latin Witches: Brujos
Latin American countries have always been full of superstitions, magic traditions, and occult and religious societies: from Santería to Palo Mayombe, El Culto a la Santa Muerte, and even remains of Native Shamanism. Latin witches, also called “Brujos”, are famous for their abilities to heal, hex and fortune-telling. They usually work with christian (or Christianized) deities, spirits and prayers. They also see the future in cowrie shells and know how to party and dance like no other witches in the world.

Hi, I was the one who asked about plants. I don't care about space. Appearance I would like something appealingly. I asked for low maintenance because my room gets little to no sun light.
Hey there! So I would look specifically for low light plants. If you get anything that wants medium or bright light you are going to have a hard time. Most people recommend succulents for low maintenance plants but since you have low lighting conditions and most succulents like warmer, bright conditions you may want to stay away unless you have a bright window you can stick them in. Some recommendations:
ZZ Plant
(image from hgtv.com)
ZZ Plants are great! They tolerate (and even thrive) in dry environments (so if you forget to water, its no big deal) and they love low light conditions. Plus they are super pretty!
Snake Plant aka Mother In Law’s Tongue
(Image from proflowers.com)
Also handles really well in dry conditions and also is great under pretty much any lighting. These are great beginner plants because they are super hardy and can take a bit of neglect. They come in a few different color variations and can grow to be pretty tall if you give them the room! Good at providing clean air too.
Ivy
(image from NoahGardenCenter.com)
One of my favorites! Algerian and English ivies specifically do really well in low to moderate light and are low maintenance. You just let the soil dry out between waterings and they are good to go. When the vines get a little too long you can prune and propagate new plants from the vines. I have a huge ivy plant and I love her dearly. These little beauties are also great at improving the air quality in your home.
Porthos, aka Devil’s Ivy
(image from realworldgardener.podbean.com)
Another one of my favorites! Few different color variations and the huge leaves on this make it a stunner. Has basically the same care instructions as the ivy above. They can also grow to be super long, but grow way slower then English Ivy. I have had to trim my Ivy yearly while my Porthos I have never had to trim, and I got them at the same time. They climb in the wild but if they don’t have anything to climb they will hang. Easy to propagate as well.
Philodendron
(image from hgtv.com)
Now this is not a plant that I have and have ever had so I don’t have any first hand experience but I have heard they are great beginner plants, because the leaves will tell you a lot. They look similar to porthos but are different plants, although I have seen them placed side by side as well as planted in the same pot and they look stunning together.
Lucky Bamboo
(image from easternleaf.com)
SUPER easy to take care of. You can literally just stick them in water and they are really chill, and you can find them everywhere (like grocery stores) shaped in fun designs.
Monstera
(image from bhg.com)
OK OK OK I really want one of these babies but can never find them at my local nursery and it drives me crazy. LOOK AT THOSE LEAVES. Plus you only need to water them when the soil is dry so they are low maintenance and require low to medium light.
Peace Lily
(image from bhg.com)
If you like a bit of flower on your plants, this is your plant. Easy to care for, and doesn’t mind low light conditions one bit. Known for removing some toxic gasses from the air as well.
Prayer Plant
(image from broadwayfloral.com)
Want some fun leaves? This is your plant. And they stay fairly small so they are good on a bookshelf or nightstand.
Spider Plants
(image from amazon)
Another favorite of mine. And they live a long time too. My mom has one that I have cuttings from that is over 20+ years old. We don’t know exactly. Its old though. but they grow little offshoots that you can put in water or soil and let root and then give to friends so these make great little plants and can also make great future gifts! They require a little water and low to medium light and they will thrive and be happy. You can also get them in few different varieties. Another plant that is great at improving your household air quality!
Chinese Evergreen
(image from sunset.com)
These handsome little guys are also really hardy. It does prefer a medium light but does do ok in lower light (i have mine in my bedroom and it does fine). Bonus: its great at cleaning the air.
Bromeliads
(image from joyusgarden.com)
Last one I promise. This little guy can live on only florescent lighting and can be quite colorful! Great no fuss plant and are gorgeous as well! If you want brighter colors though they will need a bit more light, but indirect light is perfect for them. I do have one of these in my office (which gets no natural light) and it does fine.
I’ll stop there because this post is long and picture heavy but hopefully that gives you some ideas! If you want something that grows taller you can also look into ficus because they don’t generally mind lower light areas but I do better with mine in medium to bright indirect light. Have fun and happy gardening!
