Your body doesn’t always like to work with you. At times it feels like its only purpose is to plague with mysterious aches and pains that disrupt your day.

Some days you feel perfectly fine; others, you battle strange headaches, stomachaches and nausea that seem to have no apparent cause.

Your one saving grace when your body turns on you like this? Tim.

When your head aches in the middle of the day, Tim is there with snacks, and water, and medicine, eager to help.

When you’re too nauseous to eat anything complex, Tim prepares you a simple meal so that you don’t go hungry.

When your back hurts, Tim offers you a massage.

He accompanies you to doctor’s appointments and reminds you to take your medication at the right time.

And when everything hurts and there’s nothing you can do, Tim just sits with you. Whether you’re watching your favorite show, listening to your favoirte artist, or just sitting in silence, his presence offers you enough comfort to feel at least a little better.

And when you’re wrapped up in his embrace, it’s that much easier to fall asleep.

Tim loves you. You know that. But some days you forget. Some days it feels like everything is pointless and nothing matters, much less your wonderful boyfriend who deserves better than you.

But on those days, he understands.

He’s there for you, slowly pulling you away from the edges of your mind, back into his arms.

When you don’t feel like getting up to eat, he brings you food to make sure you aren’t hungry.

When all you want is to down sugary drinks or a copious amount of caffeine, he reminds you to drink some water too.

He doesn’t judge you, if you don’t feel like showering for several days. But he reminds that you’ll probably feel better if you do.

He doesn’t judge you, for pushing him away but he refuses to let you suffer alone. He gives you space when you need it but always hovers near by in case you need him.

When it feels like there’s nothing worth living for, he reminds you that there is, be it your favorite food, your favorite song, or simply spending time with him.

There are still hard days. But Tim does whatever he can to make them a little bit easier.
