As an ace woman, it hurts, it hurts to see a celebrity with so much influence just spread hate and misinformation about my sexuality, judge us and claim we don't go through persecution.

I was sexually assaulted by my first boyfriend. He wanted sex and believed it was the foundation of a relationship, and I didn't want any, it wasn't enjoyable for me. But through coersion, guilt and fear of breaking up, i forced myself to do sexual acts for him. To give him head and hanjobs just so he could stop asking me, be anxious about hugging or showing love because he would want some sort of sexual intimacy, and at one point, got penetrated with his finger and told to "just hold a bit longer" despite crying and telling him to stop...just to see if "id start to enjoy it" all so he could achieve this expectation of what a relationship is like.

I got shamed by my parents, because they couldn't comprehend that someone wouldn't want sex, and that it was the foundation of all romantic relationships. I was taken to therapy, medications, all to see what was wrong with me. Even though I knew deep down there wasnt.

In the end, we broke up after he demanded us to solve this issue right after my grandmother's death.

This is the type of persecution asexuals get. We get judged, correctional raped, and seen as freaks or traumatized for not having sexual desire. Then we hear from others how we are just whining or exaggerating.

My abuse wasn't as bad as others have gone through, but it doesn't make it ok.

Words can not describe how utterly disgusted I am with JK Rowling over the past years. From how she views trans people, human beings who just want to live as themselves without fear of getting killed, to this. She wrote a series of books there were my hyperfixation for my entire childhood, i had merch, books, everything, I even wrote stories about it.

But now, everytime I see anything Harry Potter related, I feel disgusted

JK Rowling, you are a vile woman, a horrible person who has no right to speak about any topic other than your own series, you have pushed many fans away with your prejudice. I sincerely hope you rot in that lonely, mold infested house you call a home.
