Now, young man, dare thy answer this. Let's imagine a situation: you're put in front of a loaded gun — maybe even one held by your own hands, to keep it simple. And this is when the second appears. But what is a second, really? Tick-tock, just like that, tick and tock. So on tick the bullet is still in the gun, and on tock it leaves the muzzle. On tick you're standing here, breathing and blinking as your brain burns calories in feeble attempts to keep your mind from teetering away, and on tock... Well, we know about your skull and brain, those bodily things... But what happens to you you? What is left of you once this second is over? And don't forget, there's no time for wrong guesses, for it is just a second. Tick-tock. Tick. Tock-

To me Iceberg seems to be the most impatient and passively unnerved guy amongst the personnel. Being annoyed at waiting for the future events to arrive yet simultaneously being paranoid about what exactly can that future present to him. Eager to move forward yet not making a single step there on his own, and waiting... Waiting is a torture to him.

And also I think he absolutely hates Newton's cradle. Which is partially why he hates visiting Dr. Glass' office. Even when the thing on table is not moving, he can hear that annoying mind-drilling clicking of it. It's always there with him in certain way, but he sure wants no reminders.

Been seeing a few mutuals doing it and thought I’d jump on the trend! Honestly gave me a lot to think about, since I’m constantly adding more to their dynamic and personalities😽

Now to make their actual reference sheets and write their lore.. eugh… I do have every plot point figured out and a basic outline of when it happens, but anytime I try to write a fic about them, I burn out after 2 paragraphs. Maybe comic format would fit them better, or I could write more about 049s relationship with Jolanda and develop her…. Or I can draw them sloppily making out on a beach and covered in syrup

Some Simon doodles for your viewing!!! He is a joy and I love drawing him a lot, some headcanons are hidden below the photo!!!

Simon still smokes on occasion, however ever since he has been assigned to Meri as her psychologist he has quit. Meaning: He only smokes when he knows he will not see her for over a month due to travelling between sites.

He really likes seals, theyre adorable and he has a few plushies of the critter in his room.

Unlike the other staff, Simon's ID is a clip rather than the standard Foundation Lanyard, this is due to it being a hazard during evaluations. You have no idea how many times he got choked out before he finally made the change.

He wears eyeliner!! I suppose it's considered guyliner, but it's a habit he carried over from his agent days. Perhaps not the smartest idea on his part.

He can and will judge you for stupid life choices made outside his office, and will take a mental note on what to bring up next evaluation. (He's talking to you Kondraki.)

Simon has the habit of breaking into song whenever he's alone, and even do some theatrical dances or poses. (See the Hamilton pose in above image)

He's naturally an optimist, and fights to continue to be one. The moment he realizes he has a pessimistic thought? He rephrases it to be more positive. He goes from "Fuck I spilled my food" to "At least I have food to spill"

Do not trust him with the aux chord. Ever.
